Boston Strangler Review

Boston Strangler is a crime drama film that tells the story of a journalist who happens to discover the pattern between gruesome murders by a murderer in Boston. She pursues the case only for the betterment of women in the area. The movie's direction and cinematography are intriguing, as the director approaches the story in a rather newspaper noir fashion. Keira Knightley is brilliant as always in the role of a wife and mother working as a journalist. Her combination with Carrie Coon makes it a powerful duo who command most of the screen time. Further, the themes of mystery and action are omnipresent throughout the movie's runtime, as the plot keeps adding intriguing elements to make it even more interesting. Overall, Boston Strangler is unsettling and full of twists, which makes it the perfect watch for movie fans who love to watch something that goes wild yet remains solid in its storytelling.
