TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Stephanie Beatriz shot the film during her summer break from Season 4 of Brooklyn Nine Nine, so there was no opportunity for pickup shots.

Not only is the film written, directed, and edited by a woman, the production company was an Equal Opportunity Employer and hired primarily women and minorities.

In a rare twist for an indie film, it actually ran so on time that they had an extra half day and added two scenes that were originally cut from the film.

Aside from four scenes shot in Manhattan, the film is shot in Brooklyn, New York.

The HBO documentary that Bonnie and Matt are watching while eating dinner on the couch is "Back on Board: Greg Louganis", which was edited by the film's writer-director, Jessica M. Thompson.

Popular Dialogues

"Bonnie: I don't want to be part of this sisterhood of rape victims."

"Bonnie: Wanna grab another? Jack: No, I think I'm going to go home and listen to Tina Turner's '77 Australian Tour."
