TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Megatron's resurrection on the ocean bottom and his subsequent flight into space mimics a similar scene from the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).

The backstory of the great Transformer relic, the AllSpark, is very similar to the one detailed in Transformers (2007). Not surprising, as producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have also worked as the script-writers for that movie.

The poster and DVD case of the movie depicts Optimus Prime facing off against Predaking. In the movie itself, the two never meet.

Originally, the movie would have featured Airachnid teaming up with Unicron and Megatron. Plans were scrapped, thus Airachnid is absent from the film and her final fate was left up in the air.

When they created Sky-Lynx, the designers had no idea what his name would be. They were surprised when they found out that he would be called Sky-Lynx, as the name originally belonged to a benevolent and intelligent Autobot character, whereas in this movie, he is a brutish, slow-thinking evil Predacon.

Popular Dialogues

"Optimus Prime: Do not lament my absence, for in my spark, I know that this is not the end, but merely a new beginning. Simply put, another transformation."

"Optimus Prime: While this may very well mark the end of the Age of Primes, leadership can be earned, with or without the Matrix. And in my view, you have each acted as a Prime. Knock Out: Well, I... never really had the best role models..."
