Actor ranjeet had exactly same role in 1978 Mahesh bhatt s naya daur . Dont know who inspired who.
After the film where ever Ranjeet went people would shout out at him his famous dialogue from the film "Kabhi Kabhi ..Once In A Blue Moon". Ranjeet would get angry thinking people were making fun of him. It was only later he realized that people were paying him a compliment and appreciated his performance . The film made Ranjeet a bigger star in the industry.
