TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Andrew Divoff, who plays the djinn in human form in this film and in the first Wishmaster film, does not blink when his eyes are visible. He does not blink even during scenes that his eyes are visible for 2-3+ minutes.

Actor Corey Haim made his uncredited appearance (as a burglar in the museum scene) as a joke for his girlfriend Holly Fields who plays Morgana.

One location was the Lincoln Heights Jail building, which is used in a lot of other movies. The basement of this old jail was also used in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).

A direct-to-video film which first premiered on HBO television. It later commonly aired on Sci-fi Channel (now SyFy) throughout the early 2000s in marathons along with the original and other two sequels.

During his interview for the documentary, "Behind the Curtain Part II" (2012), writer/director, Jack Sholder, had this to say about the film:"That's one that I have very mixed feelings about because there are parts of it that I really like, but I think, all in all, it's a little dumb. To tell you the truth, I haven't seen it since I, uh, made it. When I was making it, I thought it was good. I thought a lot of it was kind of funny or clever. I definitely feel it has merit. From what I can gather, it's one of those films that divides people. Some people don't like it, others do. And, you know, it was also a sequel to a movie that I thought wasn't a good movie at all. It's a movie that I did, and I don't regret doing. You know, there's a lot of stuff that I think is pretty good from it. You know, like the scene from the casino I thought was pretty good. Maybe it comes off as being silly."

Popular Dialogues

"Tillover: How does a week in the hole sound? Djinn: A week, is that the best you got? I was once in a hole for 3000 years, this should be a breeze."

"Gregory: You won't succeed. Djinn: Who's going to stop me? Gregory: God will stop you. Djinn: God has nothing to do with this. Gregory: God has everything to do with this. Be gone, Satan! Djinn: I think you have your demons mixed up, Father."
