this camera is indeed a great buy for ranges around 17-18 thousand.. :) i got it for 17 k only.. and a month of my buy i took my time to make a review on it... its indeed a great product of fujifilm.. Its zoom of 46 x is superb.. and this camera is not hard to handle.. specialy well suited with the worderfull features.. :) :) aldou the sensor is not too good... but worth a buy for beginners. :)

My best buy from Flipkart as I got it in just under 14K in A fantastic day Deal Offer. Superfast delivery aling with a $Gb SD card class 4 and a nice camera carry bag with it. Pros: Fantastic mindblowing 46x zoom..in this price that is extraordinary..Auto focaus works fantastic even with the lense fully extended. But as any photographer knows you have to use a tripod other wise motion blur is must in that zoom range a wide f2.9 is fantastic option in this camera along with cmos censor.. works quite well as up as 400 ISO, but a significant noise cane be seen above that..That is acceptable for me iin this price.. Best part of the camera is its build quality..absolutely you will fill as a DSLR you will love the speed control of the side zoom control button..its so easy to zoom if the speed set to L The Electronic View Finder is a fantastic add on in this price range..Dont have any eye censor but the evf/lcd toggle button works a charm. Awesome Fuji menu control..even a class 5 student can use it. Extra ordinary advanced mode with various filter and take my words they all work. Con: AA batteries ..for some it can be a pros No hot shoe in the camera No lense hood given with the product and surprisingly no lense thread for any filter or hood attachment..a major dissapointment for me.. In manual mode the camera is not synched with the flash..it can only controled by menu..so the camera meter works as if there are no flash..But a little use of this camera will wease that out The tripod stand srew thread is of plastic..a Camera with this huge extended zoom..that is a big mistake by fuji Overall its a fantastic bridge camera to learn photography and to buld your experties before you go to your DSLR. Colour concentration of the photograph taken is absolutely great. Tou will love to have this.

This camera provides you with all the manual controls that you would get on a SLR except manual focus. In order to make full use of its potential, you need to know the terms like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, Exposure etc. unless you know to use these into your advantage you cant judge the performance of any camera.nnTO begin with i started to use this camera to take up close up shots, macro shots, Bokeh effect, and with optimum settings i was able to take these shots. i found the images coming out of this camera to be on a softer side. (Softness can be taken care using the software). you can take beautiful landscape photos with a tripod (without a tripod, its difficult). Focusing is quick and fast, startup time is lesser than a second. nnThings you need to know.n1. You cant shoot RAW images using this camera.n2. You will get all the manual settings except manual focus.n3. View finder is present. remember to use thumb wheel to adjust the viewfinder, else you will feel its blurred. n4. This camera doesn't perform well under low light in auto mode. (you will need to use manual mode and put up the optimum low light settings to take good photos at low light) n5. Can take around 500 photos using AA batteries n6. Has great features.n--> While shooting videos, try to keep the zoom settings to Digital zoom to avoid capturing the noise created by lens motor. nnSummary: Overall a good performer, cool compact camera feels great in hand, learn the basics of photography before you start using manual mode, Go ahead and buy it if you are looking for a budget zoom camera with manual controls. nn--> Know your devise, know your subject, know the light and be awesome at Photography.

its the best start for ur intrest!!! hmmm.. I m just worried caz the dust get inside its lense! hw to clean it! :P

Its a very good cam for the beginner. the pic quality is too good even in 46x zoom. very happy to get this product.
