IFA 2026: Acer expands its gaming portfolio with new handhled, a 3D Aspire laptop and 1000Hz gaming monitor

Acer has announced a range of new gaming hardware at IFA 2026, spanning handheld gaming, high-performance laptops, compact AI PCs and gaming monitors. The lineup includes the new Predator Atlas 7 handheld, a glasses-free 3D laptop for creators and gamers, and several new monitors targeting everything from competitive esports to high-resolution gaming and creative work.

The company is also experimenting with newer form factors and technologies, including a compact desktop built around NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform and monitors that can switch between high resolutions and extremely high refresh rates. Here’s everything gaming-related that Acer announced at IFA 2026.

Acer’s new gaming machines:

Predator Atlas 7

Acer’s new Predator Atlas 7 is a Windows gaming handheld powered by up to an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and Intel Arc B390 graphics. It comes with a 7-inch FHD touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness and VRR support, along with an 80Wh battery. Acer has also included a dual-fan cooling system to help manage temperatures during longer gaming sessions.

The Atlas 7 gets Hall-effect triggers and optional TMR joysticks for more precise controls and improved resistance to stick drift. It also features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, UHS-II microSD support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and a fingerprint reader built into the power button. The handheld runs Windows 11 and includes PredatorSense for performance controls and monitoring, while an Xbox Game Pass subscription is bundled with the device.

The Atlas 7 shares quite a few of its features with Acer’s earlier Predator Atlast 8-inch gaming handheld, just slightly more compact. It seems Acer is looking to expand its handheld lineup rather than compete with just one device, with the Atlas 7 offering a smaller form factor while keeping the focus on high-end PC gaming. It also competes against premium handhelds from brands such as the ASUS ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go rather than more affordable portable consoles.

The Predator Atlas 7 will be available in North America from Q4 2026 and in EMEA, which includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa, from November 2026. There’s no word on India availability yet.

Aspire G 3D 16

The Aspire G 3D 16 targets creators, gamers and users who want a powerful machine for productivity. Its main highlight is the glasses-free 3D display, but you can still use it as a regular 2D laptop and switch to 3D when needed. The display runs at 3840 × 2400 resolution in 2D mode, while 3D mode uses 1920 × 2400 resolution per eye. This lets Acer maintain a high-resolution workspace for regular use while using the 3D effect when needed.

This could be particularly useful for 3D designers and creators working with models, while gamers and entertainment users can also try the 3D experience with supported content. In 2D mode, the laptop offers up to an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, Radeon 8060S graphics, 128GB of memory and 2TB of storage.

The laptop also features a 16-inch WQXGA+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage, along with a 99.9Wh battery. Acer includes its SpatialLabs 3D Hub for 3D viewing and 2D-to-3D conversion, while connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and two USB 4 Type-C ports. The hardware puts it in a similar space to ASUS ProArt 3D creator laptops. 

Acer SFF RTX Spark

At IFA this year, Acer also showcased a compact desktop design powered by NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform. The small-form-factor PC is for creators, AI developers and gamers, with up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and 128GB of unified memory. Acer says the system can run AI agents locally, which could give users more privacy and reduce the need to send data to cloud-based AI services. Since Acer only showcased the design at IFA, it is best to think of it as a concept for now and not a finished product.

New gaming monitors

The new monitors are segregated into different lineups. The Predator range generally focuses on higher-end specifications and enthusiast gaming, with features intended for users who want the best possible performance or image quality. The Nitro lineup sits at a more accessible price point, targeting gamers and everyday users who want a capable display without necessarily paying for Acer’s most premium hardware.

Predator XB253Q U1

The 24.5-inch Predator XB253Q U1 is designed for esports players with an FHD resolution and 1,000Hz refresh rate, along with VRB Pro technology for clearer motion. It also supports a fast response time, AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.

Predator X32 V3

The 31.5-inch Predator X32 V3 uses a QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel with UHD resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate. It offers a fast response time, 99 percent DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 400, making it better suited to users who want both high-end visuals and smooth gaming.

Predator XB273K V7

The 27-inch Predator XB273K V7 offers UHD resolution at 160Hz, but can switch to FHD at up to 500Hz using Acer’s DFR technology. Its sub-1ms response time, Delta E<1 colour accuracy and 99 percent DCI-P3 coverage make it a versatile option for both gaming and creative work.

Acer Nitro XV275X P

The 27-inch Nitro XV275X P combines 5K resolution, Mini LED backlighting and a 165Hz refresh rate, with DFR allowing it to switch to QHD at 330Hz. It also offers a 0.5ms GTG response time, DisplayHDR 1400 and 99 percent coverage of Adobe RGB, sRGB and DCI-P3.

Acer Nitro XZ340CKR P

The 34-inch curved Nitro XZ340CKR P offers an ultrawide 5120 × 2160 resolution at 180Hz, making it suitable for immersive gaming and creative work. It also lets users switch to W-FHD at 360Hz, with a 0.5ms GTG response time, while the monitor also supports HDR10 and 90 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Acer Nitro XV275U Z2

The 27-inch Nitro XV275U Z2 offers three modes through Dynamic Frequency Resolution: QHD at 275Hz, FHD at 360Hz and HD at 520Hz, with a 0.5ms GTG response time. It also uses 1,152-zone Mini LED backlighting with Acer HDR1000 and covers 97 percent of DCI-P3 for a mix of gaming and creative work.

Acer Nitro XV270U Z3

The 27-inch Nitro XV270U Z3 takes a similar tri-mode approach, offering QHD at 275Hz, FHD at 360Hz and HD at 520Hz, with a 0.5ms GTG response time. It adds HDR10 and 90 percent DCI-P3 coverage, making it a more affordable-looking option for users who want to switch between high-resolution gaming, everyday work and competitive play.
