well to explain the experience of using this laptop in simple terms its awesome. its all-rounder in a sense it can justify being used for work, game, browsing, multimedia, editing, coding, but for high end gaming and heavy editing one may need to upgrade ram by minimum 4 gigs to attain smooth experience. it support dual channel so you can upgrade up to 16 gb and theoretically it can support 32 ddr4 ram 16 gigs in each channel. screen is above average(good resolution for multimedia experience) but nothing stunning its full hd and nice to read kindle etc, less strain on eyes due to its anti glare matte finish screen. laptop can handle all high end games at 30fps but if you need to go higher then do opt for ram upgrade. battery backup is subjective ie based on your style of function. its common sense if you play game it wont last long at max will give u 2 hour and half but if you are doing web browsing , viewing movies or you tube it will hover around 5hrs(you have to select battery saver mode as well as keep brightness at 0% and also select hp recommended battery power setting) at max, and 3 and a half hrs at 25-50 % brightness in general scenario . it seldom heats fan is silent. keyboard is back lit and keys are delight to use for the tactile feel it gives its easy on fingers for long typing. touch pad is responsive and accurate it does have multi function touch pad which is cool but i prefer mouse to use for ergonomic factor. speaker are audible but don`t expect it to be thumping and full on beat but still good enough to enjoy in home environment. i bet you will love the sound on good headphone all low high and mids are so crystal clear. in short just go for it you won`t regret. DO PREFER TO BUY FROM RETAILNET YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF QUALITY Service from them.
