this is my first latop and so I took great care in choosing the right one.After a lot of searching I finally found this and decided to buy it on flipkart as it was cheaper than the retailers and also it came with freebies(Branded HP Laptop bag+Counter strike GO).After using this this is what I conclude Pros: 1)spacious keypad(more than enough) 2)DTS sound+ which offes gr8 audio quality and the volume is quite enough 3)good battery back up 4)not much of heating(even after playing for a long duration).not too much heat is produced. 5)screen is good.visibility is good even outside. 6)ofcourse the brand name. 7)flipkart service ,as punctual as always.delivered it exactly in three days. 8)1TB hard disk is more than enough for daily use and entertainment.and with 2GB AMD Radeon gaming goes as smooth as it could be. 9) vertical brush pattern looks stylish and I would suggest not to use any decals over it. cons: not much.having windows 8 makes it a bit uncomfortable to use initially which can be overcome on usage. Overall its a great Laptop for this price

Hi, I recently purchased this notebook though not from Flipkart, after so much analysis. I bought it for a much lesser price with instant reward of Rs.2000(Inclusive of student offer - extended 2 year warranty for Rs.999). I can say this is the best(general purpose) laptop available as of 13-Aug-2013. Here is my review. Pros: ==== 1) HP Brand name and the service rendered. 2) Core i5 3rd gen with 2.6 GHz (Boostable to 3.2 GHz) which is the best for day-to-day usages. 3) HD Brightview LED display which is the best in the market in terms of Laptop display. 4) 2GB dedicated AMD Radeon Graphics - This truly takes the laptop to high-end gaming category. Superb experience playing in it. 5) Island keyboard with Numpad which is good to strike. 6) DTS Sound+ which is amazing for 5.1 surround. 7) Windows 8 which has some amazing features, though first time users will not find it user-friendly. 8) HP Coolsense - which keeps ur laptop cool even if u run round the clock(except during gaming hours). 9) HP softwares - HP provides some unique softwares which no other brand has. 10) User comfort at its best. Cons: ==== 1) Webcam is not that great, which is the case in most laptops. 2) Windows 8 - You will scold Bill Gates very badly for hiding the Shutdown button in such a place. Summary: ======= With the technical specifications of the notebook, the performance is very high for day-to-day use. It made me satisfied completely and you can hardly find a fault with it. It delivers a refined performance. Bottom Line : A super computer for day-to-day usage. Rating : 5/5, 98/100

Bought this 16Ttx laptop 3 weeks ago.. Now buying another one for my brother.. This is one powerful machine which you'll love to operate.. PROS - 1. Display is bright even outside.. 2. Island keyboard is spacious.. 3. DTS speakers are excellent 4. Touchpad is smooth with Pinch to zoom function. 5. Comes with Intel HD 4000 and ATI 8670 graphic card which runs high end games like Grid 2, Black Ops 2 and so on, just name them.. 6. Windows 8 is superfast (new users will be confused, but will like it later on) 7. HP Cool sense technology 8. Backlit only for few keys like Capslock, Mute, Wifi keys 9. Backpack is of good quality 10. Comes with HP Quick start which is just like Start Menu in previous Windows CONS - 1. Comes with single partition of 906 GB and 24 GB (Recovery), i manually partitioned C drive with built in Disk Manager, there should have been separate partition 2. No Drivers and Recovery disc (they are in C drive, you'll have to burn them yourself) 3. Webcam quality is satisfactory (not so brilliant) 4. Having a little Blue screen issue in Windows, will re-install Windows 8 again (not a con) 5. Comes with Norton Internet Security 2013, with 2 months validity (most irritating software, i removed this in few days) 6. Pre-installed MS-Office 2013, but not activated, you need product key, which is not even provided, you can only use trial version.. (you'll have to install it separately yourself) Rest is all fine.. Just go for it..

I bought this laptop a few days ago from a local dealer, with almost the same price but added another 4GB RAM for ?2200 extra. Also got hp backpack free along with a lot of accessories. The laptop on first look seems classy, with the vertical brush pattern on mineral black instead of on the usual sparkling black. Looks great. Performance wise it delivers even better. The battery back up is very good and windows 8 boot time is 5 seconds. Feels tough at first due to its many features but get used to it and your opinion will definitely change. The core i5 3rd generation is really superb and the 2GB dedicated AMD graphics make this laptop perfect for gaming. No heating issues found at all. 1TB HDD gives you ample storage. The USB 3.0 ports are blazing fast. The DTS+ sound speakers are super cool, though a little more volume would have been better. Overall this is a great product and with 8GB RAM in mine i absolutely have no issues with it. I bought this after a lot of research and experience and i recommend it to anyone having ?50k budget. Really satisfied.

I am very Happy to have bought this.BEING my first lappy I took great care in choosing the right one.I purchased this laptop 3 months ago from HP WORLD.After a lot of searching I finally found this.this is an awesome gaming laptop.powered by radeon hd 8670 and intel graphics,this machine runs every high end game buttery smooth.It has provided with the graphic card which is very efficient in power consumption.The HD display quality is superb.I have played all high end games like BATTLEFIELD 3,Assassins creed 2 and revalations,NFS MW '12,COD Black ops 2,COD MW [also ps2 ps3 games with emulator]etc very smoothly on this laptop.Processor is very fast offering 2.6 GHz speed so no any problem with multitasking through multiple apps.Battery backup is very good providing average time of 4.5 hours.Again no heating issues at all.HDD is sufficiently large enough to keep your all big multimedia and other files.Sound quality is superb when used with 5.1 surround speakers.I will recommend this lappy as the best lappy than all other brands..5 out of 5 to this.
