I bought this Laptop p045tx recently (15/07/2014) after lot of search for a better laptop around 60,000/-, finally concluded with two choices the HP 15-p045tx and the Lenovo Z50-70. Both seems to be perfect for a laptop with this budget, I tried using both the laptops finally concluded with the HP 15-045tx. The reason why? both HP and Lenovo are 4th gen i7 but HP has 4510U and Lenovo has 4500U, HP processor speed is higher with 2.0GHz with turbo boost upto 3.1GHz, were Lenovo runs with1.8GHz turbo boost upto3.0GHz.nDesign wise HP 15-p045tx looks awesome and better than the Lenovo Z50-70 coz it has a basic standard look. The only thing that Lenovo comes ahead is with the graphic with 4GB NVIDIA Geforce 840M were the HP comes with a 2GB same graphic card. 2GB NVIDIA Geforce 840M itself can play all 2014 games, and the best part HP comes with Beats audio.
finally doing all research decided to buy this model nnwhat i liked about this modelnn*laptop as per specification its good n*design of the laptop is sexy as it like mac bookn*built up with i7 4th gen processor but no difference b/w i3 and i7 for normal usennwhat i didn't like with thisn*item not described properly lots of content missingn*even buying dept. in customer care also don't know about backpack (is that included or not)n*disappointing with shipping waited till night to receive this product even though paying Rs.100 extra expected in morning
Bought this laptop from somewhere else on 7th Oct. Wanted to share its review to help other buyers:n1) I have played Crysis 2, NFS MW (new), Halo:Spartan Assault (till now) and they seem to working just fine at high detail settings.n2) Looks are good, but as it has white cover it is susceptible to dirt.n3) nVidia GT 840m is a mid range GPU belonging to class 2 of graphics card and is capable of playing most of the games at mid-high settings at 1366X768.n4) Screen brightness flickers when working on battery (on AC there is no such problem), but this maybe a software problem.n5) Trackpad and keyboard are moderate and seem to be fragile so be to sure to order external ones for gaming.n6) Battery performance is very good, works for 4-6 hours with wifi ON, browsing and movies, music etc, considering that the battery is only 4 cells. Mostly due to U series cores and maxwells GPU which are energy efficient.nnP.S.: Dont upgarde the BIOS there seems to be some problem with the new update, it renders ur lappy unusable. Consult HP service people before upgrading.
The worst thing of this laptop is its graphic card which is gt 840 gddr3 m you can go with the other option which is dell insipiron 15 3537 which has amd radeon 8850m gddr5 and it has i7 4500 u and 1.8ghz which is priced at 58,490 at flipkart .If you are hardcore gamer do not buy hp pavilion 15 p045tx go for dell inspiron 15 3537 because amd radeon 8850m is a way way way faster than 840m
Sexy colour. I bought this laptop at 58k. Anyway this is good working laptop. Games doesn't lags in it.
