Looks are fine, sound is good but if compare to other models in this price you can buy much more , in high perfomance. Battery is not that well also
Pros: Good one! Design wise it is best, though RAM should be 8 GB. Processor Speed is very High(2.6GHz). Battery back up to 2.5 H.(65W six cell) for standard use. Finger print sensor is awesome. Cons: You did not get any warranty from HP website. As these products are already sold by HP to Flipkart between 2012-2014. As a consequence one year warranty was already over with in 2015.
When I contacted local seller he trolled me saying that I will sell this laptop for 31,100/-(With Extra 4GB RAM)since there are potential issues with this particular model.(I don't know about the problem before placing the order after contacting him for RAM upgradation he reveled this information and he even explained the type of accidents he encountered).It will be very difficult to get laptop repaired in service centers and may take upto 2-3 months for the service. 1.Laptop I recieved is defective piece (May be Hard Disk Problem "It says your PC Ran in to problem with brand new windows8 installation") and some of the parts have been recalled by the HP itself(http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/displaysp4ts.oid=5229492&docId=emr_na-c04406218&docLocale=en_US)go through this link I don't know this recall includes other parts of the laptop. 2.As mentioned on the website the battery backup is not 7hours but atleast I should get 5hours case is different I am getting only 3:30 hours approximately after installing all latest drivers.I bought this laptop only because it has upto 7hours battery backup leaving other laptops with similar configurations at less price. 3.Heating problem is huge I have Compaq Laptop which is 2years old even that won't heat up like this it is heating with in 30 min without playing any games just for using Programming IDE. Air coming from the vent is as heat as air coming out from the "HAND DRYER".I must say that this is not a Hewlett Packard Laptop but Heat Pump Laptop. 4.Left side bottom portion beside touch pad is heating up very quickly if you are a Software Engineer don't go for this it is very difficult to use. 5.7200 RPM hardisk no improvement in the performance my old laptop with less configurations in all aspects is good when compared to this.
I ordered HP Probook (i3/ 4GB RAM/ 1 GB Graphics) on 31 January. But after 4 days they suddenly cancelled my order and sent a mail like this ( We would like to inform you that we are processing YOUR CANCELLATION REQUEST for the following items in the Order OD001990088674468400.) Then again i placed an order for HP Probook (i5/ 4GB RAM/ 1 GB Graphics) on 7th feb. This time i got my order(13 feb). But the great thing they did, THEY DELIVER i3 LAPTOP IN PLACE OF i5. I have a urgent need of laptop but i already got delayed by almost 15 days from my first order due to great service by flipkart. And now also i am struggling for my laptop. I don't know what should i do. But i really tired with this.
Today i received my this laptop normally everyone says flipkart has the best delivery time but they were delay by 2 days and communication about the same to me. I had to communicate to check the status. About computer it heats up on the left side near the track pad need to check will give a complete feedback about the Probook in another week. I got a replacement after 5 days and the problem still exists in the new piece. Recommend not to buy this product even it is it for FREE No thanks to flipkart. Arvind
