dont even think to purchase this laptop it has a lot of hardware problems i m facing the problem from first week of purchasing of this laptopi purchase two laptops both of them have the same problem i m not the only user who is facing the problem even everyone in my knowledge have this laptop have the same problem
I bought this product a month ago after going through the lot of reviews and researches on HP laptop and finally decided to go with this model. I was so curious to see the product from Flipkart as this was my first order here. Finally got delivered in 9 to 10 working days but committed to deliver within 6 working days. Let me get into my laptop, - Battery charge % grows as the remaining time goes down - Battery charge indicator (White light next to power input) was always orange even after 100% charge - Battery charge indicator continues to blink even after shutting down the laptop - Mouse pad was not working unlike other laptops - Function keys (case) was very loose (entire case goes down when pressing single key– top left corner F1 to F4) Let me get into the excellent services I got from HP, - Raised complaint on day one with HP as well as with Flipkart o No proper replies from either side finally decided Flipkart will not help me in this o After multiple follow-ups with HP, Service engineer came to my place and updated BIOS setup and as always no luck o HP service manager gave a word to provide product replacement if any hardware issue found but neither agreeing to motherboard issue nor replacing the product o They asked me to come down to their service centre and I did go there twice and waited from almost 8 hours a day and as always no luck o Another engineer came to my place , took my laptop to their service centre after which they could not solve the issue o Finally I am updated that a new battery is ordered HOPE to get the issues fixed ASAP as I would like to use my laptop rather using my friend’s laptop and it is almost more than a month after the laptop is taken by the engineer Now I felt, i should have gone to DELL as it has only the battery issue not the service issues Think as much time you can, before buying any product otherwise you will have to live with the unwanted happenings.
I buy it two days before....nd i also faced the above problem. i also contact with the customer care. They told me update ma bios. the problem remains untill i refix the battery. The charger side led blinks automatically. I suggest not to buy this laptop. in this cost you can go for hp pavilion g6 dat gives solid performance with 2gb amd radon graphics. you can gofor asus also. rating 0
Go for It......simply awesome.... i bought this laptop 2 months back and its working amazingly and special about it: sound quality processor concern: Camera quality is Typical HP type
i bought this laptop after considering a lot many options with the i5 3rd gen , though this was a little pricey compared to the lenovo and other hp options this has a really good key board which is comfortable for hours of typing the screen size is also just right.. I made two modifications to it.. i increased the ram to 8gb and sold of the 500gb hdd it came with and replaced it with a corsair force gt 128gb ssd .. and this laptop gives even the latest ultra books a run for their money.. and the total cost which i had to pay after the modifications is only 44000 which is loads less when compared to an ultrabook
