I earlier owned HP Special Edition dv 2701tx which is most defective piece released by any company even the HP officials acknowledge this thing because of Nvidia graphic card.nnSo after lot of research I came across(my requirements were Core i5 3rd Gen and no dedicated graphic card as suggested by service and repair centre)following laptops :nnSamsung NP300E5X-A01INnLenovo Essential G Series G580 nnBut I came across one online forum ThinkDigit and there was a guy whose username was "Naxal". He suggested to me consider this laptop and he told me to have faith in HP.nnI went to local HP Store and within 2hrs purchased this laptop for INR 37300.nnQ. Why I bought this HP laptop over Samsung and Lenovo?nA. Lenovo laptop has some drawbacks in ergonomic design and faces overheating problem (HP also has but with graphic card. HP has developed new technology named Coolsense Technology)n Samsung laptop doesn't have so much market presence and hence very few people can give the exact review of the pieces. And also samsung have warranty for two years whereas HP is providing you with offer to extend warranty upto three years at a price of INR 1133(Offer period 7th July - 15th August).nnnMy first encounter with this laptop at home :n1. As soon as I pressed the start button within half a second came "Starting Windows" and windows got started within 5-6 seconds.n2. Speaker quality is much much better than any other laptop. Only one word AWESOME.(Altec Lansing + Dolby Advanced)n3. No overheating issue (As I was susceptible about HP)n4. Nice keyboard & touchpad.n5. 2 X USB 3.0 & 1 X USB 2.0n6. Good camera qualityn7. Look and feel is much much better than Samsung and Lenovo.nnOn the whole don't think about this laptop, go and grab it !!
Bought this from flipkart for daily work and browsing. Here are the pros and cons.nnPros:n- The laptop is fast. Blazing fast. 4 GB RAM and 3rd Gen i5 make it a powerhouse.n- The display is vibrant with a good contrast ratio.n- Suitable for Heavy multitasking, Light gaming and video encoding and Programming.n- Looks stylish with a tapered edge, shiny black back and a metal HP logo.n- Unlike what the image shows, this laptop has a numpad.nnCons:n- Even though the colors on the display are good the resolution is just 1366x768.n- The keyboard feels a little rugged. (Some may like it)n- Sound quality could have been a little better. Dolby digital does a decent job though.n- No Aero effects and transparency because its Windows 7 Home Basic.nn================Hardware================n- 3rd Generation Intel Core i5-3210M is really fast and with hyper threading you can really do heavy multitasking on it.n- 4 GB RAM is sufficient for everything you can do on this machine.n- 500 GB HDD is a decent amount of hard disk space but if you like watching and storing lots of movies, you should consider an external hard drive.n- Intel HD 4000 isn't the best graphic solution out there but you can still play the latest games on decent frame rates by tuning down the eye-candy. This laptop is NOT for gaming. If you are looking for a gaming machine for this price go for the HP G6 2005AX or even better the HP G6 2301AX.nnIf you found this helpful do let me know.
its a full package lappie with so many decent features. I really like this one. its affordable to have and what a man needs today large storage, sufficient memory and the most important processor which is i5 3rd generation. So in totality we can say its a bundle piece. anyone can go for it.
I bought this laptop before 1 month from HP showroom.I was little bit worried about this product.But after getting it I was totally surprised about its performance.As I am a gamer,I thought i would not be able to play more games which require high graphics because it is having only intel hd graphics..But I was absolutely wrong..combined performence of core i5 3rd gen,1600Mhz 4 gb ram and hd 4000 graphic is superb,awesome,terrible..I am able to play any high graphics game in medium and sometime in high settings flawlessly...I have played Crysis 2 in low,Singularity in medium,Max payne 3 in low,Prototype 2 in medium,NFS Run with medium.Dont think twice.Go and grab it...
Really worth for money who looking I5 in cheap price, I have done upgrade for 8 GB paying additional 1000rs. Speed really good, Look wise it is really nice and rest all future is good. My suggestion is go for it. But only problem with customer care Of HP, When I applied for Extend warranty using back to campus offer, They really treated **** Very Bad lazy, I don’t like HP customer care, Very poor service. Only one star for customer care, Buy very good product.
