HP Pavilion G6-2227TU Laptop (Core i3 3rd Gen/4 GB/500 GB/Windows 8)

HP Pavilion G6 is a heavy duty laptop. Impressive Points: * Sturdy design. * Dolby Advanced Audio combined with Altec Lansing is far better than any other laptop. * Screen is bright and with vibrant colors. * Windows 8 is extraordinary swift and it works very fast. * Transfer speed to external harddrive is 35MBps constant. Thanks to internal toshiba harddisk. * Ethernet adaptor is of Realtech and works well. * RaLink is the provider of Wireless Lan(Wifi). It works very well. Reception of Ra-link adaptor is same as Atheros adaptor. * Battery: Guranteed 4 Hours. I feel relaxed with 4 hours backup. * Video: Intel HD 4000 is better than NVIDIA GT 520M and 610M. Video works with charm and 1080p videos are played with ease. Even 2k videos ( higher resolution than 1080p) works exceptionally well. * Gaming: In presence of intel HD 4000, almost all games have to surrender !! * Touchpad: Multitouch wilth gesture support. * Boot speed: Maximum 15 seconds. Its lightening fast. * Cooling is very efficient. Does not get heated. * Noise: Too silent. * Webcam: Its HD. Result are preety good. * Ambient Sensor: Works very well. It senses the availability of light and works with screen brightness accordingly. *Keyboard: Its solid and no chance of key loosening. What is not Good: * First time operation is quite complex. You need a microsoft account to log in to your laptop for the first time. A computer expert is needed for first time usage. * No facility to turn off the screen. After so many years, I have seen such a perfect laptop with almost all the features needed. Just go for it. Must buy....

What’s good is..... -3rd generation core i3 provides much faster performance than 2nd generation core i5. -CPU speed is quite impressive (2.4 GHz). -Dolby Advanced Sound is very good. -Great sound quality as speaker is attached on a keyboard's upper surface. -Screen resolution is 1344x768 providing high quality view because of HD Brightview Widescreen LED Backlit Display. -4GB DDR3 Ram and 3MB cache also increases performance. -HD webcam provides a great quality picture. -Bluetooth v4 provides faster data transfer rate around 1.2 mbps. -6 Cell battery provides a great battery backup (5-5.5 hours) and while surfing net provides 3-3.5 hours backup. I really like the “Battery Performance”. -It has 2 USB 3.0 port and 1 USB 2.0 port.USB 3.0 port provides higher transfer rate. While transferring data to external Hard Disk 3.0 provides 100-120 mbps and for HDD 2.0 provides 30 mbps speed. Which is quite impressive. What makes it different from other Laptop... -Full-size Textured Island Keyboard provides all keys separated from each other and also provides a num lock keypad. -It doesn't have any heating problem. I used laptop for continuously 15 hours and not at all got overheating. -Last but not least it provides 1 year on site Accidental Warranty. What’s bad is.. -Although it has Intel HD Graphics but it is not sufficient to play high Graphics games. While playing Blur I got many lags in the game. If you Don’t want a “Gaming Laptop” then you should go for it....
