Just Ordered this Gaming Machine Today ! Can't Wait To Lay my Hands on it! Guys this is the perfect successor for HP Pavilion G6-2313 AX though it sounds strange with the 2312 kind of stuff creating a bit of a havoc with its od brother 2313 AX though... But unfortunately the RAM is lesser compared to its predecessor I.E 2313AX had 6 Gigs And this has only 4 Gigs but never-the-less this one has the same prototype of its predecessor 2313AX and AMD still doing good with its flagship processor APU TM Quad Core A10 processor boasts the speed of up to 3.2 GHZ it's simply exquisite! And again its GPU which is of Dual in operation I.E 512 MB AMD Radeon HD 7660G (Integrated) and 2 GB ATI Mobility Radeon 7670M HD Graphics (Dedicated) which is far more than enough for HC Gamers When I say "Hard-Core" I Mean "IT"! And 1 TB Of HDD runs at 5400 RPM well considering the Rate-Tag, it will get the job done ! We finally get it with Windows 8 running on it Out of the Box which was not available on the previous case encountered with the Predecessor viz 2313 AX The Web-Cam is slightly enhanced with low-light shooting clips and video-chats just got more vivid and clear ,talking about the NEW HP True-Vision HD Low Light Webcam with Integrated Digital Microphone which also gets the machine reproduced with new goodies! Including the Graphics Memory Unit , the RAM Accessibility they are all DDR3 Class which is a good stuff! Talking About the processor 4600M Series Burns along with its Stock Chipset AMD A70M with 320 KB of L1 & 8 MB of L2 Cache! As we all know AMD leads the way in terms of Multitasking, HC Gaming ,HD [I Mean 1080P Full HD] Video Surfing either Offline Or Online Are And will always be stutter-free and buttery while processing the all above mentioned! You'd rather leave behind Intel and start becoming a fanatic of AMD's By The Time I finish the review! Trust Me ,You have to go for it And its A New Arrival! Its always good to have Latest Tech-toys ! And it is time to upgrade your ware as its within your budget I.E speaking of its Price and relating it to what it does A Gaming Monster! "I Own this Laptop" ( This review is based on whats my experience With this machine) Lets Start With Topics: 1. Looks : Its Black machine with metal plated "HP" in the Up right Corner. The Touch, Texture is all same with other G6 machines. 2. Keyboard : Have Chiclets Keyboard Full sized ..And other features like LED's on Power button, Adapter plug, CD ROM. No buttons on the back side of laptop. 3. USB : 2 * 3.0 USB AND 1 * 2.0 USB sockets. Enough and usual i guess. 4. Windows Rating : 6.1 ( I checked it as soon as i Opened the Box) 5. Battery : 4 Hrs ( No gaming time ) 6. Visuals for movies and pics : Best In class. 7 Heating Issues : "THERE ARE NOOO HEATING ISSUES" 8 Touch Pad : It have multi-touch gesture, Very interesting Technology ..You will like it if you keep your mouse out of sight and see the manual and apply the instructions. 10. Clock Speed and Multitasking : Mind blowing speed people ...I will just say they it took only 2 and half hr for recovery of media. It can go upto 40 mb ps for copying material. installed some softies of 2-3 GB sizes in 10-14 min 11. You will Love it guys ...i will be giving it 4.5 out of 5 ....why not 5!!!...because it have only one thing i noticed that unusual bight and again low down when battery is not connected ... may be it have some battery storage technology bt it sound lil uff like ... 12 Overall all se : Lelo boss ... you wont get such cool stuff in this price. Difference between 2312 And 2313 ... IT have Original windows 8 That too in just 1500 more( Adv you can go for updates and travel abroad with lappy) Drivers are available on hp link shared above. This will be my 1st review in this website and are for those who are confused about purchasing this machine or not. 1st of all I haven’t bought this laptop from flipkart and believe me the prices of the market is nearly the same here in Kolkata. HP-G6 2312AX After a month of research about laptops and best gaming budget laptops I decided to for this machine and believe me it wasn’t a mistake. Here are some of the reasons why: 1. AMD Chipset: Somewhere or the other everyone is confused about buying an AMD chipset machine but in my opinion he/she shouldn’t. AMD if not better, its nowhere inferior than an i5. I have used an i5 machine for a month and performance is same for an average user. The real magic happens when you through a game at the processors and yes for gaming i5 is no match for AMD. 2. Windows 8- Believe me guys Windows 8 is designed for gamers. After doing an elaborate research about Windows 8 and using it for the last month I would say its really worth it. Although there are some cons but as they say with great power comes great responsibilities. Gesture features might be fun for few but for me it sucks but you always have an option of not using it. One last and most important thing about windows 8- ITS FAST, REALLY FAST. It boots up in no time (just press the button and count 5). 3. Gaming- Nothing to describe. This is one of the best gaming rigs money can buy you within 40000 (Including a 2 GB RAM which I have installed in one of the empty slots- You can do so at just around 1000-1200 INR, Its cheap). Just through a game and enjoy the magic happen. I have played titles like BF-3, NFSMW-13, PES 12, ACIII, Sleeping Dogs and GTA-SA within a month and it haven’t let me down yet. 4. Heating- No heating issues at all. I have been playing AC-III for 6 hours straight and my chair was more heated than the machine. 5. 1 TB hard disk in this budget. Only a few laptops offers this much storage in this price. 6. Webcam is HD, Bluetooth is 4.0 which is latest and file transfers are fast where as vide USB file transfers are Blazing Fast. I am getting around 20-23 MB/sec occasionally and depending upon the removable device I am using. After all its 3.0. 7. Multitasking is very fluid and gives you a free flow experience. 8. Speaker quality is also good and if you are not looking for a surround sound 8+1 home theater system these speakers shall suffice your day to day needs. 9. If not very heavy and is really elegant looking. Now lets face it, it must have cons: 1. Display might have been better, but I guess this is what we get in this price. 2. Battery back-up while playing games is disappointing around 2 hours. General Recommendation: 1. Don’t forget to make recovery disks before usage. It takes 5 dvd’s. 2. If you are looking for a gaming machine within 40000 than go for it, don’t worry. The only alternative available is Lenovo Essential G505s (59-380146) which has 8 GB ram but no OS preinstalled and is only available online (Price- Rs. 34000 approx). I would recommend buying HP rather than Lenovo, don’t ask why.
i bought this lappie last month,and as everyone is saying it is awesome,but just take care to create recovery of windows 8 when you buy this lappie, as hp is not giving original cd to you(windows 8 will be original,but it will be already installed).if you want help then go to youtube,type hp recovery creation for windows 8 and follow the steps.
Bought it on 30 june from another store with 42100 with 8gb ram external mouse keyboard cooling pad because Flipkart doesn't deliver to my location the specs are hot no heating issues because i haven't shut down my monster since i bought it so dont get confuse this machine is better than Intel's i series so as soon as i got my hands on this monster i suddenly installed assassin creed 3 played with high settings and its really smooth, also crysis 3 i am a graphics and game designer so i also use heavy software's like Maya 3d max mudbox nuke and many more and these software's are also running smooth final word & just one word for this beautiful evil monster AWESOME just buy this beautiful evil monster without hesitation and confusion. AND yeah Vinod every softwares runs smooth on this machine even if you are rendering with mentalray you just dont have to wait for better experience just download the 64bit version and be happy
