I've bought this one 2days ago & I'm having wonderful experience. Its stunning looks caught my eyes,midnight black aluminum finish is more like a black beauty.This thing weighs hardly 2.5kgs,not too bulky as i would say! About the performance of the machine,the booting is lightning fast & there's nothing new to say about the Windows 8 looks,its simply gorgeous with customisable homescreens . It hardly takes 4seconds to boot to access the desktop,thanks to the 2.6ghz clock speed which turbo boosts upto 3.2ghz. The HD Bright view LED display is pretty nice,the truevision WEBCAM is however a disappointment although I dont use it too much. The sound clarity output from the Beats speakers is really authentic, loud & clear with top-notch quality surround sound. Not to forget about the 8GB RAM & 2GB Graphics Card,it takes Gaming experience into another level.It runs CRYSYS-2 smoothly without any jaggedness,however NFS HOT PURSUIT 2010 runs with a bit slow fps.Have not installed any high graphics games yet. The touchpad with multi-touch gesture feature is great,the pinch out zoom in facility and two fingers scrolling feature really makes it easier for reading & browsing purposes. The Keyboard keys are easy to press & well spaced. The battery backup is good enough after a single charge of 5hours for the 1st day it gave a backup of 6hrs for reading and the backup may reduce to 3hrs for entertainment purposes. The USB SS ports allows super-speed reading & writing of data. One last thing, since its metal coating(brushed aluminium), the temperature of the device remain cool even when its working in a hot environment! OVERALL ITS A GREAT LAPTOP.

It's a slim beauty but performs like a wild beast. Awesome Graphics & performance. Heating is low....Even I play games like CallofDuty MW3, CRYSIS 2, NFS RUN more than 5 hrs without any cooling pad. Disappointing is the display resolution. But we should not expect a Retina display from HP. I am happy with it :)

Dear All, I have purchased this laptop last week and so its the time to shower some light w.r.to pros and cons. Pros : 1) Awesome Finishing Midnight Black with Metallic finish is a beauty. 2) Configuration is good with Win8. 3) Beats audio is up to mark delivering a crystal clear sound quality. 4) + point for Finger Print Reader for security purpose. 5) Sleek,Compact,Well built,Good battery backup. 6) Diwali Utsav Offer is very good fortunately this time :) Cons : 1) Camera quality as HP True Vision is not so good. 2) No back-lit led with keyboard is a biggest drawback with such a high price machine :( Bottom Line is one can go with this laptop as its great in looks with good configuration however with few disappointment but this is nothing new HP does usually with every new model release, when it adds something intentionally it also takes something out.

I purchased this laptop due to its high end configuration and performance and I very pleased with its performance and looks. Its has got a single slot 8GB ram so another slot is free if you need to add more ram for running virtual machines. Build quality and finish is very good. It looks like pretty much an ultra book. Black matt finish looks great. Camera is not that bad as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Its pretty ok but not excellent. Windows 8 boots up amazingly fast but some people may find it little annoying to use at first but after spending few days you will start liking it. Keyboard is very nice and responsive too. Having a numeric keypad really helps. Power button and ports are well located and looks sturdy. Laptop backpack also looks good. Overall its a good laptop for professional looking at a high end machine with good looks. Finally, I must say that Flipkart service is excellent and the delivery is done well in advance with progress update at all levels. The best part was the deal from flipkart for exchange of old laptop and cashback deal from standered chartered credit cards for 15%. Buy this product with confidence if you are looking for a good looking and high performance machine for i5 series.
