Verdict

The HP OMEN Transcend 16 (2023) will be an excellent choice if you are seeking a slim and light gaming laptop. Its magnesium chassis packs the Intel i7 13700HX with RTX 4070, which can handle AAA titles without breaking sweat, and has impressive thermal performance. However, the MUX is limited only to BIOS, which results in poor battery. The single SSD slot, lack of Numpad, and a few corners cut on I/O are something which should not be overlooked.
