Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra storage options
- Samsung will reportedly bump the storage capacity to 2TB for the Ultra variant. According to the tipster Tech_Reve, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is confirmed to come with 2TB storage. The RAM capacity hasn’t been specified for the variant.
- The tipster adds that there will be more variants including one with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
- There’s even a possibility for an 8GB + 128GB variant for the Galaxy S24 Ultra but this seems unlikely since the Galaxy S23 Ultra also starts with 8GB + 256GB.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be Samsung’s top-end model in its flagship series so it wouldn’t be surprising if there is a 2TB variant. But we’ve still got months to figure that out.
Samsung Exynos 2400 launch timeline
Samsung delighted everyone by using only Snapdragon chipsets for its Galaxy S23 series. This meant that every market received the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S23 models and not with an Exynos chipset, a long-running debate that the latter is weaker. But Samsung could revert its decision again as the Galaxy S24 series is expected to launch with the Exynos 2400 chipset.
Samsung is planning to release its in-house Exynos 2400 chipset in Q4 this year, according to TrendForce. This chipset is also said to launch with the Galaxy S24 series but on a limited scale. Going by this prediction, we can expect Samsung to launch Exynos and Snapdragon models for its Galaxy S24 series.
