Apple’s March 4th event could culminate with multiple soft launches over several days: report

Highlights

Apple’s March 4th media event could end up being a culmination of several days of quieter product announcements, rather than a single launch event, according to reports from Daring Fireball’s John Gruber and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Apple has invited journalists to a “special experience” on March 4th in New York, London, and Shanghai, which is expected to focus on hands-on demos of new devices, which will expectedly arrive through press releases in the days leading up to it.

Gruber first floated the idea in a post on Daring Fireball, writing that his “spitball guess” is Apple will introduce products “via Newsroom press releases, day-by-day,” followed by in-person demos for the media. Gurman later said on social media that “Gruber’s spitball guess is exactly what I am expecting based on what I’ve heard,” adding that there may be no “real keynote” tied to the announcements.
