After wearables brand Fire-Boltt confirmed its foray into the Indian smartphone market via Flipkart, the company’s upcoming device has been spotted on Geekbench. The upcoming Boltt Evo’s core hardware specifications have been detailed via the listing. The phone is expected to launch under Rs 20,000 in India and the specifications reiterate that. Even though the company hasn’t announced a launch date, the listing suggests it may not be far off.
Boltt Evo key specifications and features
The Geekbench listing identifies the device as the Boltt Evo and reveals the motherboard codename “ums9230_6h10”, which corresponds to the Unisoc T7250 chipset. The processor features an octa-core CPU with six efficiency cores clocked at 1.61GHz and two performance cores running at 1.82GHz.

The benchmark also confirms Android 16 out of the box and around 4GB RAM. These specifications confirm the Boltt Evo will be sold in the affordable segment. The device has scored 440 in the single-core and 1,470 in the multi-core tests, which is consistent with phones packing this processor.
The Unisoc T7250 is already found in budget devices such as the OPPO A6c, POCO C71, Lava Bold N2 Pro, and Realme C71. That suggests buyers can expect performance suited for everyday tasks like calling, messaging, web browsing, video streaming and light gaming rather than demanding workloads. Fire-Boltt seems to be prioritising affordability with its debut phone.
Expected launch details
Fire-Boltt recently confirmed that its smartphone lineup will include both Evo and Ace series models, covering 4G and 5G segments. The devices will be manufactured in India and sold through Flipkart. Earlier reports also suggested the company plans to launch two to three smartphones priced below Rs 20,000 with Unisoc processors, forming the backbone of the initial portfolio.
This comes at a time when several brands have either re-entered or expanded their presence in India’s budget smartphone market in recent months. Acer and Alcatel have returned through licensing partnerships, while homegrown brand Ai+ has also been targeting value-conscious buyers with aggressively priced devices. For Fire-Boltt, entering the market with competitive pricing alone may not be enough. Reliable software updates, dependable after-sales support and the possibility of a connected ecosystem with its existing smartwatches and earbuds could become key differentiators. If the Boltt Evo launches at an attractive price, it could appeal to first-time smartphone buyers or users upgrading from older 4G devices.
However, buyers should also compare it against similarly priced options from Lava, POCO, Realme and OPPO before making a purchase, especially if factors like software experience, cameras or long-term support are a priority.
