Update (August 2025): The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra went official in July 2024 in India and select global markets. The foldable was launched at Rs 99,999 and is currently available for Rs 89,999 on Flipkart as of August 2025. Key highlights include a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 165Hz pOLED outer display, and an improved hinge design for better durability. Interestingly, the phone has launched in the exact Blue, Orange, and Green colour options that had been tipped earlier, alongside the 12GB + 512GB storage variant. However, with the Razr 60 Ultra now available in the country, and at the same price, we would advise you against picking up the Razr 50 Ultra.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra looks to be in the final stages of development as the foldable is receiving multiple certifications online, including BIS. The handset will arrive as a successor to the Razr 40 Ultra. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively gotten a Motorola Razr 50 Ultra live image, which appears to be coming from another certification. Motorola Razr 50 Ultra live image leaked online
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra live image, which comes courtesy of tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, shows the design hasn’t changed much from the Edge 40 Ultra. We get the same horizontal dual-camera setup, the Razr branding, and a folding hinge in the middle.
The top portion of the rear panel should have a large secondary screen similar to the predecessor. On the front, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will have a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and slim bezels around the screen. The volume rocker and power button could be present on the right edge.
Sources tell us the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will bear the model number XT-24510-3 and that the foldable will be available in a 12GB + 512GB storage option. The phone might be available in Blue, Orange, and Green colour options.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra had already bagged the BIS and EEC certification platforms, but the listing showed the model number XT2453-1. This is vastly different from the XT-24510-3. It is possible that the model number could be for different regions/storage models. Interestingly, the model number matches with a report from January, which said the Razr 50 Ultra has the internal codename ‘Gory’.
Since the phone has bagged the BIS certification, we expect it to launch in India at some point in time. Not much is known in terms of hardware specifications, but the Razr 50 Ultra will arrive as a flagship offering and should be built over the predecessor.
