Honor knows how to make a statement. It launched the first phone with an 8,000mAh battery, which is the Honor Power, and now the brand plans to push the numbers even further. The upcoming Honor X80 Pro Max is launching in China on June 22nd with a massive 11,000mAh battery and a peak screen brightness capable of exceeding 10,000 nits. This would make the Honor X80 Pro Max the brightest smartphone screen announced to date.

Under the hood, leaks point to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, suggesting the device is aimed more at battery-conscious mainstream users than performance enthusiasts. Camera hardware appears modest, with reports pointing to a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.
If battery life, durability, and display visibility rank above gaming performance and advanced photography, the Honor X80 Pro Max could become one of the most compelling value-focused smartphones of 2026.
