Infinix is preparing to launch its next mid-range phone in India, with the Infinix Note 60 Pro set to debut on April 13th at 12 noon. The company is pitching this as a step-up device in its Note lineup, combining a new design element with larger battery capacity and faster charging. Ahead of the launch, the company has opened pre-bookings, bundling up to Rs 7,000 in benefits to attract early buyers.
As part of the pre-booking window offers shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary, Infinix is offering a free MagSafe-compatible speaker worth Rs 3,999, a Rs 3,000 instant bank discount on select cards, and an additional year of warranty. Financing options include up to 12 months of no-cost EMI and a ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ plan of up to nine months. The tipster further claims the phone could be priced under Rs 30,000 in India.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro introduces what Infinix calls an ‘Active Matrix Display,’ a small dot-matrix panel placed next to the rear cameras. It’s designed to show quick information such as notifications, battery status, and charging updates, and can also run simple animations and visualisations.
The rest of the specifications point to a more typical year-on-year upgrade. Based on global variants which went official last month, the phone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, along with a 6,500mAh battery and support for 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
There are also indications of a shift to a Snapdragon 7-series chipset, which would mark a change from the MediaTek-based setup used in the previous model. Camera hardware is expected to remain similar, with a 50MP primary sensor leading a dual-camera setup.
The Note 60 Pro is positioned as a battery-focused mid-range option with an added design hook. The pre-booking offers add some immediate value, but the final price will determine whether it stands out in a segment where hardware upgrades alone are no longer enough to differentiate. For context, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G launched in India in April 2024 starting at Rs 21,999, offering a 120Hz AMOLED display and 45W charging. The Note 60 Pro appears to build on that with bigger battery capacity and faster charging, while adding a new visual element on the back. The Note 50 series never made it to India.
If the pre-booking offers align with your needs and the rumored price is accurate, it might be a good time to consider, especially for those prioritising battery life. Otherwise, waiting for the full launch and reviews might be prudent.
