The iQOO Z11 is set to launch in India on August 20th. Ahead of the launch, the brand has been teasing the handset, revealing key details about it. Just last week, the iQOO Z11’s chipset details were announced, and now, we know more about the handset’s display specifications.
iQOO Z11 display specifications
The iQOO Z11 is confirmed to feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. The display also supports 2,000 nits high brightness mode and 3,000 nits local peak brightness. It also comes with eye-care features designed to make scrolling and streaming comfortable on the iQOO Z11. This is not only brighter and bigger than the iQOO Z10, but the refresh rate and resolution are also upgrades.
The 3D curved screen has very thin bezels, which should help deliver an immersive experience while watching videos. The large size and resolution should also appeal to users who prefer streaming shows and movies on their phone.
iQOO Z11: what to expect
iQOO has already confirmed that the Z11 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. It will be the first phone to launch in India with this chipset. It’s expected to deliver better gains than its previous generations, including the Dimensity 7400 and Dimensity 7300. iQOO also claims the chipset has scored over 1.2 million on the AnTuTu benchmark, suggesting capable mid-range performance.
The new iQOO handset will be available in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue colour options, featuring a new Skyline Camera Module, which is a metallic horizontal camera bar housing two sensors and an LED ring light.
As for the rest of its specifications, the iQOO Z11 is expected to house a 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It’s tipped to feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS, and a 32MP front camera. The handset is also expected to come with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
Based on what we know so far, the iQOO Z11 is expected to launch in the upper mid-range segment under Rs 40,000. It will most likely compete with phones like the Redmi Turbo 5 and Motorola Edge 70 Pro in the same price segment. The handset could stand out for its large and bright display, performance, and stylish design.
