iQOO recently confirmed that the iQOO Z11 will launch in India on August 24th. Now, the company has revealed that the smartphone will be the first in the country to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. The company is positioning the processor as a major upgrade for AI-powered features, smoother multitasking, and sustained performance under heavy workloads. This is the third phone in the series to launch in India after the iQOO Z11 Lite and Z11x.
iQOO Z11 chipset details
The MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset is an advanced 4nm octa-core processor built on the Dimensity 7500 architecture. It’s equipped with the MediaTek NPU 850, designed to deliver more than double the AI performance of prior generations for on-device generative AI tools. It’s expected to deliver better gains than its previous generations, including the Dimensity 7400 and Dimensity 7300. The chipset is claimed to have a score of over 1.2 million on the AnTuTu benchmark, suggesting capable mid-range performance.
iQOO had previously teased the Z11’s design and colour options. The handset will be available in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue colour options, featuring a new Skyline Camera Module with a horizontally aligned pill-shaped camera island, two prominent camera rings, a third sensor, and a circular LED ring light. The phone also appears to have a slim profile, a curved rear panel, and a quad-curved display with narrow bezels.
Leaks suggest the iQOO Z11 will pack a 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, a 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 32MP front camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and up to 12GB RAM. This combination could be a game-changer for iQOO in the fiercely competitive mid-premium segment, if priced aggressively. It’s expected to compete with phones like the Redmi Turbo 5 and Motorola Edge 70 Pro.
If these specifications prove accurate, the iQOO Z11 could stand out in the mid-premium segment by combining a high-refresh-rate OLED display, a large battery, and a capable chipset in a single package.
