It was recently reported that the iQOO 16 may not make its way to India but the company has plans to launch a Z-series model in the country soon. Part of that prediction seems to be coming true, as the iQOO Z11 appears to be on track for an India launch. However, it may not be the same phone that recently debuted in global markets. A new teaser from iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya confirms that the device is headed to the country, but a Geekbench listing suggests the Indian model could arrive with different hardware.

iQOO Z11 expected specifications in India
According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Indian iQOO Z11 carries the model number I2514. A prototype with the same model number has surfaced on Geekbench, revealing a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, 12GB RAM, and Android 16. Another tipster Anvin has speculated that the use of the Dimensity 7500 could indicate the Indian iQOO Z11 is a rebranded version of the Vivo S60e Vitality Edition, which uses the same processor. However, this remains speculative until iQOO officially confirms the hardware.
The global iQOO Z11, which recently launched in Malaysia, features a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, 50MP primary camera, 32MP front camera, IP68/IP69 ratings, and a 9,020mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Meanwhile, the Chinese version offers a higher-resolution 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. It also comes with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while retaining the same 9,020mAh battery and 90W charging support.
India could end up getting a third version of the iQOO Z11 with a different chipset altogether. Such regional variations are not uncommon, with brands often tailoring specifications based on pricing strategies and local market competition. If the speculation about a rebranded Vivo S60 Vitality Edition turns out to be accurate, the Indian iQOO Z11 could feature:
- 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset
- Up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB storage
- 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 50MP front camera with autofocus
- A 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W fast charging
- Android 16-based OriginOS 6
- IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and an infrared blaster
However, these specifications are based on speculation and should be treated as unofficial until iQOO confirms the device’s hardware. The expected chipset change may also help iQOO price the phone more aggressively in India. Depending on its final pricing, the iQOO Z11 is likely to compete with devices such as the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion and other mid-range smartphones. Regional variants have become fairly common in the smartphone market, with brands often making hardware changes across markets to better match local pricing and competition. If the Indian iQOO Z11 does arrive with the Dimensity 7500, it could reflect iQOO’s focus on offering a balanced mix of performance and battery life in India’s hotly competitive mid-range segment.
The iQOO Z11 will join the iQOO Z11x in the lineup, which launched in India in March at Rs 18,999. However, after hikes, it currently starts at Rs 22,999 in the country and the Z11 may be priced slightly higher. While the global Z11 stands out for its massive battery and fast charging, the Indian model’s pricing will decide how much value it brings to the table for buyers. iQOO may sweeten the deal with launch offers, and since the teasers have started, waiting it out may be prudent.
