Prolific leaker Evan Blass @evleaks has shared the official-looking renders of the Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra, revealing colour options and the design of the devices in full glory.

Motorola Razr 50, Razr 50 Ultra design, price leaked

The leaked renders shared by Evan are akin to the ones that we shared earlier. We can see that the vanilla Motorola Razr 50 (Moto Razr 2024 in select markets) will undergo a design overhaul compared to its predecessor. It features a leather finish on the rear, giving it a more premium look.

Moreover, it will also flaunt a larger 3.36-inch external display with a cutout for the dual camera setup. In the leaked renders, we can see Motorola’s upcoming vanilla clamshell device in grey, khaki, and orange shades.

Moreover, the flagship Razr 50 Ultra features a premium build with a leather back. The 4-inch external display covers one side of the clamshell phone. Like the vanilla model, it also has a cutout for a dual camera setup housed in the external display. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra’s colour options include green, peach, and blue.

The leaker suggests that the Razr 50 will come with a starting price of EUR 899 (Approx Rs 81,500), and the Razr 50 Ultra will cost EUR 1,200 (Approx Rs 1,09,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant. In comparison, the Motorola Razr 40 comes at Rs 44,999 and the Razr 40 Ultra starts at Rs 69,999 in India. 

Motorola Razr 50 specifications (expected)

  • Main display: The Motorola Razr 50 will flaunt a 6.9-inch pOLED panel with support for 1080 x 2640 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Motorola Razr 40 also had a 6.9-inch pOLED panel but supported 144Hz refresh rate. 
  • Cover display: It will have a 3.63-inch pOLED cover display, significantly bigger than the 1.5-inch OLED panel of the Motorola Razr 40. 
  • Cover screen cameras: The device will pack a 50MP primary shooter and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The previous-gen Motorola Razr featured a 64MP primary camera and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Meaning, that the newer model will have lesser megapixels than its predecessor, but should come with software improvements. 
  • Main screen camera: The Motorola Razr 50 will house a 32MP snapper at the front, the same as its predecessor. 
  • Processor: It will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G SoC, which will be significantly more powerful than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC of the Motorola Razr 40. 
  • RAM/Storage: The Motorola Razr 50 will ship with 8GB RAM, the same as its predecessor, but the storage will increase to 256GB from 128GB.
  • Battery: A 4,200mAh battery will keep the lights on. The previous-gen Motorola Razr also packed a 4,200mAh battery with 30W charging, meaning, there won’t be any upgrade to the battery department with the newer model. 
  • Dimensions: 171 x 74 x 7.2 mm.
  • Weight: 188g.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra specifications (expected)

  • Main display: The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will pack a 6.9-inch pOLED panel with support for 1080 x 2640 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The Razr 40 Ultra also came with the same display size and refresh rate. 
  • Cover display: The cover display, on the other hand, will get a slight boost, a 4.0-inch pOLED panel, up from a 3.6-inch pOLED screen.  
  • Cover screen cameras: The cameras of the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will offer a major upgrade over its predecessor with a 50MP primary shooter and 50MP telephoto camera, up from 12MP main and 13MP ultra-wide.  
  • Main screen camera: However, there won’t be any upgrades to the front camera, as you will still get a 32MP snapper.
  • Processor: You can expect a significant performance boost with the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor of the Razr 40 Ultra. 
  • RAM/Storage: Motorola will also offer more RAM and storage options with the Razr 50 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, up from 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
  • Battery: The device will also pack a slightly better battery and support a faster charging speed with a 4,000mAh battery with 45W charging support, up from a 3,800mAh battery with 30W charging support. 
  • Dimensions: 171 x 74 x 7.2 mm.
  • Weight: 184g.
