Moto Pad 70 specifications and features

The Moto Pad 70 features a 12.1-inch 2.5K (2560×1600 pixels) IPS display with 600nits typical and 800nits (HBM) brightness level, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Moto Pad 70 Groove has the same screen but with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood of the tablet runs the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, which is commonly seen in budget to lower mid-range phones. The tablet comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Powering the Moto Pad 70 is a large 10,200mAh battery with 45W TurboPower charging support. This should ensure multi-day battery life depending on your usage. The tablet also comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, which will most likely be used for video calls. The Moto Pad 70 gets a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, making it a good option for multimedia. You also get an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance on the new Motorola tablet.

The Moto Pad 70 runs Android 16 out of the box, and it comes with AI-powered writing tools such as AI Rewrite and AI Summary, AI Continue Writing, Circle to Search, and Google Gemini. The tablet measures 6.29 mm thick and weighs 530g.

The Moto Pad 70 looks like a good option for those who want a mid-range tablet with a large display and reliable battery life. Since it comes with a keyboard and pen, it would be a good choice for productivity as well. You can still consider options like the Redmi Pad Pro 2, which offers similar hardware at a similar price. So, it’s best to do a proper comparison before making a buying decision. If the Moto Pad 70 fits your requirements, then you can go ahead and get it.
