Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, Edge 60 Fusion prices tipped to increase by Rs 3,000 in India
Motorola is reportedly preparing to increase the prices of multiple smartphones in India, with some models set to become up to Rs 3,000 more expensive. Motorola Edge 60 & 70 fusion will cost Rs 3,000 more
According to a post shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary on X, Motorola is set to increase the prices of the Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 60 Fusion in India by up to Rs 3,000. The revision affects all four variants of the Edge 70 Fusion, while only the 12GB + 256GB version of the Edge 60 Fusion has received the hike. The new prices will go into effect from August 25, 2026.

This is not the first time Motorola has revised the pricing of its smartphones in India. The brand had also increased prices of the Edge 60 Fusion and several Moto G-series models earlier this year, as smartphone makers continue to adjust prices amid rising component and memory costs.
The latest hike also changes the positioning of the Edge 70 Fusion quite significantly. The phone previously started at just above Rs 30,000, but its new entry price pushes it further into the mid-range segment, where buyers have other alternatives to consider.
Should you still buy the Motorola Fusion series?
Both the Edge 70 Fusion (review) and Edge 60 Fusion have been great all-rounders in their respective price segments, but the latest hike changes their value ever so slightly. The base Edge 70 Fusion variant now sits right at the edge of the Rs 30,000 segment but still offers a very capable processor, versatile camera system and stylish design. These qualities make it a good option for users looking for a well-rounded smartphone without having to compromise too much.
The Edge 60 Fusion (review) follows a similar formula and could make more sense for users who are less concerned about having the latest software. It has a shorter software support window remaining, but the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration gives it a more robust hardware package at its current price. If your priority lies in higher memory and storage over longer software support, the Edge 60 Fusion remains an option worth considering.
