Motorola expands Edge 70 lineup globally with Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G: check price, specifications
Motorola has quietly added another device to its Edge 70 lineup. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G has surfaced on the company’s website in Brazil, expanding the series that recently saw the launch of the Edge 70 Fusion in India earlier this month and the Edge 70 globally in October 2025. For now, the new model appears to be exclusive to Brazil, and Motorola has not said whether it plans to introduce the device in other markets.
The Edge 70 Fusion+ puts an emphasis on cameras. The phone features a 50MP main camera using Sony’s LYTIA 710 sensor, paired with a 50MP ultrawide camera. Motorola has also included a 10MP telephoto camera, giving the phone a dedicated zoom option. On the front, the device carries a 50MP selfie camera.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, the same chipset used in several recent mid-range smartphones. The phone comes with 12GB RAM and Motorola’s Intelligent RAM Boost feature, which dynamically allocates additional virtual memory when running multiple apps. Storage is fixed at 256GB.
Motorola is also highlighting durability on the Fusion+. The phone carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and includes IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, adding another layer of protection.
On the front is a quad-curved display, which Motorola describes as the first Quad Curve panel in this category. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, Pantone colour tuning, and a peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. Displays with these specifications are increasingly common in Motorola’s Edge series, with the company continuing to emphasise screen quality across the lineup.
The phone packs a 5,200mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging. Motorola claims a 10-minute charge can deliver enough power for a full day, though actual results will depend on how the device is used.
In Brazil, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ 5G is priced at BRL 2,969 (around Rs 52,000) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. It is available in Pantone Blue Surf and Orient Blue colour options.
The launch comes shortly after Motorola introduced the Edge 70 Fusion in India on March 6th at Rs 26,999. That device shares several similarities with the Fusion+, including the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 144Hz display, and Sony LYTIA 710 main camera. However, the Indian model takes a different approach in other areas. It features a much larger 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the camera system is simpler, consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 32MP selfie camera.
The difference highlights how brands are tailoring phones for different markets. In India, where battery life often plays a big role in buying decisions, Motorola has leaned into endurance with the Edge 70 Fusion. The Brazilian Fusion+, on the other hand, puts more focus on camera flexibility, adding a telephoto lens and a higher-resolution selfie camera.
If the Edge 70 Fusion+ makes its way beyond Brazil, its biggest selling point will likely be the camera setup. Motorola is betting on photography with a telephoto lens and a 50MP selfie camera. The recently launched Edge 70 Fusion in India takes the opposite route, leaning into battery life with a much larger 7,000mAh cell. Buyers who care more about zoom shots and camera flexibility may find the Fusion+ more interesting, while those who just want a phone that keeps going for two days straight may gravitate toward the standard Fusion instead.
