Motorola Signature was unveiled last month at the Snapdragon Summit as the second generation in the brand’s premium lineup. It’s powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and comes with powerful on-device AI capabilities. The Motorola Signature 27 India launch was also confirmed at the India Mobile Congress (IMC), and the brand has now announced it will debut in November.
Motorola has published a dedicated microsite for the Signature 27 in India. Here, the phone has been teased with its design and key specifications. There’s also a ‘sign up’ option for buyers who are interested in getting the latest updates on the Signature 27. We’re yet to get a launch date for the Motorola Signature 27, but it should be revealed soon.
While the specifications of the Motorola Signature 27 are already known, only its pricing remains, which has also become a key point of interest amid rising flagship smartphone prices. With the OPPO Find X10 launching at Rs 1,39,999 and the iQOO 16 tipped to cost over Rs 1 lakh in India, the Motorola Signature 27 could also command a premium price tag.
The Motorola Signature 27 will launch as the brand’s latest flagship smartphone and the second device in its premium Signature lineup. The first-generation Motorola Signature debuted at Rs 59,999, offering flagship-level performance at a relatively competitive price. However, the Signature 27 is a full-fledged flagship phone, featuring Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. With flagship smartphone prices increasingly crossing the Rs 1 lakh mark, the upcoming Motorola phone could follow the same trend.
The OPPO Find X10 series is among the first Android flagship lineups of 2026 to launch in India, with the standard model priced at a hefty Rs 1,39,999. Meanwhile, the iQOO 16, which is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, has been hinted to cost around Rs 1 lakh in India. This is a notable shift for iQOO, which has traditionally focused on delivering powerful flagship smartphones at more competitive prices.
These launches indicate that premium smartphone prices could continue to rise in 2026, which has been the market prediction too. If you’re planning to buy the Motorola Signature 27, it may be worth preparing for a significantly higher price than its predecessor. However, it would be wise to wait for the official pricing before making a decision, especially if you’re considering alternatives in the premium flagship segment.
Motorola Signature 27 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, which is Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset and its most powerful yet. The smartphone is said to deliver powerful on-device AI capabilities, enhanced camera experiences, responsive gaming, and faster download speeds. The Signature 27 would be competing with new and upcoming flagships like the OPPO Find X10, Vivo X500, and OnePlus 16.
For optics, the Motorola Signature 27 features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. It’s also equipped with Motorola’s Video Enhancement Engine powered by AI, designed to create a real-time intelligence layer that automatically adjusts colour tones by analysing the scene before and during recording.
The Motorola Signature 27 is confirmed to get seven years of OS upgrades. It will also support GrapheneOS, an open-source software that deploys technologies to limit apps and websites from tracking and extracting private and vulnerable data from your phone.
The handset will launch in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green colour options. It will also feature a redesigned camera module that stretches across the upper portion of the rear panel.
