Nothing Headphone (1) Pro launched; BTS’ V named global brand ambassador
Nothing has unveiled its latest premium over-the-ear headphones: the Headphone (1) Pro. Successor to the original Headphone (1), the new Headphone (1) Pro brings a similar but refined design and upgrades such as triple drivers, improved ANC, and more. Nothing has also roped in BTS V as the global brand ambassador with the launch of the Headphone (1) Pro, joining other artists like Charli xcx and Milli.
Nothing Headphone (1) Pro price, availability
The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is priced at $399 (approximately Rs 38,400) in the US. There is no word on its India launch yet, although the headphones have been listed on Nothing’s India website. The predecessor, Headphone (1), was launched in India at Rs 21,999, suggesting that the Pro model could also make its way to the country. However, the Headphone (a) was not launched in India, so it remains unclear whether Nothing plans to bring the new Pro model here.

Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is equipped with a triple-driver setup featuring a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, along with a precision dynamic driver and an xMEMS driver with a silicone diaphragm for treble. Active noise cancellation (ANC) has also been improved on the Headphone (1) Pro and is claimed to offer up to 46dB of noise reduction. Voice calls should also be better as the headphones feature a total of 10 microphones. You also get a Transparency mode and a four-microphone algorithm for calls.
Nothing has also added the Dynamic Spatial Audio with head-tracking feature on the Headphone (1) Pro. It comes with several modes too, such as Standard, Live House, Club, and Concert Hall. There’s also a dedicated mode based on Studio B at Metropolis Studios, a renowned tracking and mixing room. The feature could appeal to recording artists by recreating the studio’s sound experience, allowing them to experience its acoustics without physically being there. The headphones also come with Hi-Res Audio certification, along with support for AAC, SBC, LDAC, and LC3 for broadcast audio.
In terms of design, the Headphone (1) Pro looks much like the first generation but more refined and durable. The headphones have a scratch-resistant glass enclosure, while the materials used are lightweight titanium and an aluminium frame. Nothing has also increased the padding thickness, and the headband has also been made 10 percent wider than the previous model. It has an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is the brand’s flagship audio product, priced around Rs 9,600 higher than the Headphone (1). Its distinctive transparent design retains Nothing’s signature aesthetic, while the dedicated Studio Mode could appeal to users looking for a more immersive, studio-like sound experience. If you’re an existing Headphone (1) owner, consider if the improved ANC, spatial audio, and refined design justify the upgrade for your usage. If you’re new to Nothing audio and prioritise premium features, the Pro model is a strong contender, but consider waiting for reviews comparing it directly to rivals like the Sony WH-1000XM6 or Bose QuietComfort Ultra.
