OnePlus 13 India price discounted to Rs 61,999 on Flipkart: is it worth buying?

Highlights
  • It’s worth noting that Flipkart is not an official seller for the OnePlus 13.
  • While listed at Rs 61,999, the handset will cost Rs 62,279, including Flipkart’s payment handling and protect promise fees.
  • Amazon is the official e-commerce seller where the OnePlus 13 is priced at Rs 63,999.

Flipkart appears to be offering the OnePlus 13 (review) at Rs 61,999, the lowest price the device has seen so far, after it originally debuted at Rs 69,999 for the base variant with 256GB of storage. It’s worth noting, however, that Flipkart is not an authorised e-commerce seller of the OnePlus 13. Amazon is the official partner, where the OnePlus 13 is currently listed at Rs 63,999.

Additionally, availability on Flipkart seems limited. At the time of writing, only six units are listed at the discounted price, and only select variants are eligible. Even so, the offer undercuts the Rs 63,999 price on the official OnePlus website and Amazon, making it one of the most compelling deals on the OnePlus 13 right now.

It is also worth noting that Flipkart levies a Payment Handling fee of Rs 124 and a Protect Promise fee of Rs 156 on the smartphone, thereby increasing the price to Rs 62,279. Even so, this remains a lucrative deal on the OnePlus 13. Additionally, buyers can avail of up to Rs 2,000 in bank card discounts, bringing the price down to Rs 60,729. There is an exchange offer on the device as well.

Who should buy the OnePlus 13?

OnePlus has officially announced the OnePlus 15 in India, which makes a price cut for the previous generation likely. However, the OEM has not yet discontinued the OnePlus 13, so this may be a one-off instance where the smartphone is available at such a low price outside a sale period.

While it may not feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset remains more than capable of delivering top-tier performance without lag. Moreover, the handset features a superior 2K-resolution display compared to its successor, the OnePlus 15. The latter may boast about its 165Hz refresh rate support, but it is limited to select games.

Pros and cons of the OnePlus 13, based on our review.

The OnePlus 13’s 120Hz refresh rate on its 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display remains more than sufficient to deliver smooth animations and high-frame-rate graphics. For most users, any difference in real-world usage will be difficult to notice. Additionally, the previous-generation OnePlus flagship features a Hasselblad-tuned camera system, which many may find more appealing than the in-house DetailMax Engine introduced on the latest flagship.

The OnePlus 13 features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera, which is identical to that of its successor. The front-facing camera is also unchanged, using the same 32MP sensor found on the OnePlus 15.

Battery life is where users will have to compromise a bit. While you won’t get a 7,300mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging support like the OnePlus 15, there is a solid 6,000mAh battery backed by a 100W charging solution. While it didn’t perform well in our PCMark Battery test, it showed impressive endurance in real-world usage.

The OnePlus 13 runs Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 out of the box. That said, OnePlus has rolled out the OxygenOS 16 update for the smartphone, bringing the software experience similar to that of the OnePlus 15. The handset is expected to receive at least three additional major OS upgrades and six years of security updates, keeping it relevant through 2031.

Given the marginal differences between the OnePlus 13 and the newly launched OnePlus 15 (at least in core specifications), which starts at Rs 72,999, the older model remains a compelling option for users seeking a performance-focused OnePlus smartphone with a flagship experience at a lower price point.
