OnePlus started teasing its next compact phone, the 15T, last month. It has now given us a sneak peek at the OnePlus 15T’s display and its super-thin bezels. The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a LUMO periscope telephoto lens, suggesting photography upgrades over its predecessor, the OnePlus 13T. Launched as the brand’s first true compact flagship, the OnePlus 13T was among the first to make compact flagships mainstream and more accessible. It seems to have been a successful strategy for OnePlus as it’s now slated to launch the second-generation model.
Li Jie Louis, OnePlus China President, shared a few posts on his Weibo page regarding the OnePlus 15T. One shows a close look at the 15T’s display against the iPhone 17 Pro series. In the image, we can clearly see that the OnePlus 15T’s bezels are extremely thin. Li Jie Louis also mentions in the post that the OnePlus 15T has ultra-narrow bezels measuring 1.xx mm on all sides. It’s also touted to offer the visually narrowest bezels among small-screen phones. This is not just impressive but also useful for compact phones with small screens.

Another major upgrade for the OnePlus 15T is the new LUMO periscope telephoto lens, which is said to deliver significant improvements in optical hardware, algorithms, and tuning for clearer distant shots and more atmospheric portraits. The camera setup on the OnePlus 15T could include a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto at the back, and a 32MP front camera.
Li Jie Louis adds that OnePlus has enhanced the battery capacity, heat dissipation, and periscope lens for the 15T. Despite these upgrades, the OnePlus 15T maintains a “remarkably slim and lightweight profile”.
OnePlus 15T has also reportedly appeared on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform with a score of 4,455,423. This is quite impressive for the compact flagship, suggesting top-tier performance. OnePlus 15T is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the fastest mobile chipset from Qualcomm.
OnePlus 15T is tipped to pack a 7,500mAh battery with 100W wired and wireless charging support. In comparison, the OnePlus 13T features a 6,260mAh battery, so this would be a notable upgrade. The 15T is also tipped to come with support for Apple’s MagSafe wireless charging ecosystem, and an ultra-thin magnetic cooling accessory that you can snap on the back of the phone to reduce heat dissipation while gaming or other intensive activities.
Although a launch date hasn’t been revealed yet, the OnePlus 15T is expected to arrive as the OnePlus 15s in India. This would make the OnePlus 15s a compact flagship to go for, especially if a large battery and flagship performance are your priorities. With an upgraded camera and thin bezels, the OnePlus 15s may just be a notable switch from the OnePlus 13s.
