The OnePlus 15T is set to launch in China soon as a new compact flagship. The smartphone will succeed the OnePlus 13T, which was one of the first phones to make compact flagships mainstream. OnePlus 15T is continuing with the same strategy, offering a smaller form factor but with flagship specifications. OnePlus has now unveiled the 15T in a white colour, joining the previously revealed green and dark brown shades. OnePlus 15T pre-orders in China have also gone live, suggesting a very close launch.
OnePlus says that the 15T’s white colour variant has been inspired by white chocolate, offering a smooth and warm feel. It’s a ‘pure white’ design from the metal frame to the back panel. It will also feature a “glass fiber” panel on the back and have 1.1mm-thick bezels on the 6.32-inch screen. OnePlus has already confirmed extremely narrow and thin bezels on the 15T, even smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro series.

The OnePlus 15T is also teased to deliver performance and battery life that surpass larger screens. The smartphone is expected to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It’s also tipped to pack a 7,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. This battery capacity is unusually large for a compact phone. With this setup, the OnePlus 15T won’t fall short among its large-screen flagships.

OnePlus 13T’s cameras weren’t the best, but the 15T might fix that. It’s tipped to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a 3.5x optical zoom, which would result in sharper, more detailed zoom shots and portraits.
With these upgrades, the OnePlus 15T is poised to be ‘the’ compact flagship phone to beat this year. How these upgrades translate into real-world experience is something we can only judge later. But for now, it would make sense to wait for the OnePlus 15T if you’ve been planning to buy a compact flagship. In India, the smartphone will most likely arrive as the OnePlus 15s.
