OnePlus 15T is expected to launch later this month in China as the company’s next ‘compact flagship’. The company has now shared a new teaser poster that reveals the phone’s design and colour options. The latest teaser from OnePlus confirms that the OnePlus 15T will follow the same design language as the flagship OnePlus 15, with a minimalist rear panel and a camera module positioned in the top-left corner.
However, its overall aesthetic appears very similar to last year’s compact flagship, the OnePlus 13T. Like its predecessor, the new model features a clean back panel with a relatively small camera island. The teaser also shows the device in two colours: a green finish and a dark brown. Reports suggest a third white colour option could also be available at launch. OnePlus 13T launched in three colours, so we may see the same for the 15T as well.

Performance details of the OnePlus 15T have also surfaced through a recent Geekbench listing. According to the benchmark entry, the device will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It achieved 3,440 single-core and 10,523 multi-core points on Geekbench, with a 16GB RAM variant. The handset is also said to have achieved an AnTuTu score of around 4.45 million points, suggesting a substantial performance boost over its predecessor, and among other Android flagships as well.
With this level of processing power, the device is expected to handle demanding workloads such as high-end mobile gaming, intensive multitasking, and on-device AI processing with ease.
One of the most notable specifications for the phone is its battery capacity. The OnePlus 15T will reportedly feature a large 7,500mAh battery, an unusually high capacity for a compact flagship smartphone. The device is also confirmed to support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. With this setup and a flagship chipset, the OnePlus 15T would be a solid compact flagship for performance and endurance.
OnePlus is also positioning the handset as a “small-screen powerhouse.” It is expected to feature a 6.32-inch flat display with extremely narrow and symmetrical bezels on all four sides, which is smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro series as well. The phone will include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Camera capabilities are also seeing an upgrade with 3.5x optical zoom confirmed for the OnePlus 15T. This could be a 50MP periscope telephoto camera for long-range photography. In terms of durability, the device is expected to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. On the software side, the handset will reportedly run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
The combination of a newer flagship chipset, a significantly larger battery, and the addition of a periscope telephoto camera suggests that the OnePlus 15T is a notable upgrade over the 13T. It would still be wise to wait for reviews to see what the differences are on paper, and if it makes sense to jump from the 13T. But for those who are yet to buy a compact flagship, can consider the OnePlus 15T.
While the company has only confirmed its debut in China so far, further details about pricing and potential international availability are expected closer to the launch event. If launched in India, it will most likely arrive as the OnePlus 15s.
