OnePlus tipped to launch compact tablet with 8.8-inch OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
OnePlus recently launched the flagship OnePlus Pad 4 (review) tablet in India. It is now reportedly planning to introduce a compact tablet in India soon. OnePlus has a decent portfolio of tablets in India, catering to various price segments like the premium flagship and budget. With a compact tablet, OnePlus would be adding another option for buyers who prefer a smaller-screened tablet. Here’s what has been tipped so far.

OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch a new compact tablet with an 8.8-inch OLED tablet with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, according to tipster Debayan on X. This tablet is said to launch in India in Q3, which means between July and September. The launch will be interesting as OnePlus doesn’t offer a compact tablet yet, and the closest to compact that it offers is available on the OnePlus Pad Lite with an 11-inch display.
The tipster added that OPPO is also expected to launch a tablet in India towards the end of Q2 or in Q3. This tablet will be similar to OnePlus’s but with a different chipset.
