OPPO will unveil the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in India on November 18th, but a new leak might have prematurely revealed the price of the company’s newest flagships. According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Find X9 Pro will launch in India at Rs 99,999 for the single 16GB/512GB model, while the regular Find X9 is reportedly priced at Rs 74,999 for the 12GB/256GB model and Rs 84,999 for the 16GB/512GB variant. Assuming these prices are correct, this puts the base X9 under the Rs 75,000 mark and keeps the Pro model at the same Rs 99,999 price OPPO commanded for the Find X8 Pro last year.
For context, the previous Find X8 lineup launched at Rs 69,999, so OPPO is increasing its entry flagship price by about Rs 5,000, much like what OnePlus did with the OnePlus 15 and iQOO is tipped to be doing with iQOO 15. The price rise seems to be pretty standard across the industry and is attributed to rising component costs.

In terms of competition for the Find X9 series, the recently launched OnePlus 15 starts at Rs 72,999 for 12GB/256GB and goes up to Rs 79,999 for the 16GB/512GB variant, making it slightly cheaper than the Find X9, based on the leak. Looking ahead, the iQOO 15, which launches on November 26th, is expected to be priced around Rs 60,000, and may attract buyers who prioritise performance without much of a design or camera focus. Considering OPPO is indeed pricing the Find X9 Pro at Rs 99,999 and raising the base X9’s entry point, the company could be positioning the Find lineup closer to Samsung’s flagship devices and Xiaomi’s Ultra model, rather than battling OnePlus and iQOO directly on price.
The OPPO Find X9 series is already official in China. The Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera setup tuned by Hasselblad, including a 50MP primary camera and a 200MP telephoto unit, along with a robust combination of IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Both phones run on MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which OPPO is expected to bring to India unchanged. Colour options for the Indian launch include Space Black and Titanium Grey for the Find X9, and Silk White and Titanium Charcoal for the Pro.

However, the Find X9 series’ closest competition will be Vivo’s flagship X300 series, which will also pack the same MediaTek chipset. It comes with its own Zeiss-tuned camera system, which will rival Hasselblad on OPPO. Vivo has also pushed things up a notch by bringing OriginOS 6 to its phones globally and phasing out Funtouch OS. If Vivo manages to undercut OPPO in terms of price, it could gain an edge over the Find X9 series. However, where OPPO takes the lead would be the battery department as both the phones pack 7,000mAh+ batteries and Vivo is still hovering in the 6,000mAh range.
If the leaked pricing is to be believed, those looking for design quality, better camera tuning, and an overall more premium experience will find the Find X9 series compelling competition against Rs 1 lakh+ flagships. On the other hand, users who seek performance at a more palatable price could find the OnePlus 15 or the iQOO 15 more alluring.
