OPPO is building out its Find X9 lineup quickly, and the Find X9s Pro is expected to launch later this month as a compact flagship. The company has now officially teased that the phone will come with dual 200MP cameras, which is a rare spec for a smaller flagship, and a clear sign that OPPO wants this device to stand out on imaging as well as performance. Interestingly, the Find X9s Pro will become only the second phone in the world with two 200 MP cameras, as the Vivo X300 Ultra takes the title of the first with its launch later today in China.
OPPO Find X9s Pro camera setup will include two 200 MP lenses
The teaser (via) also hints at a redesigned rectangular camera module, but the bigger story is the hardware underneath. OPPO says the phone will use two 200MP sensors, and leaks suggest these could be Samsung’s HP5 units handling both primary and periscope telephoto duties. If accurate, that would give the Find X9s Pro a rare combination of high-resolution main shots and equally detailed zoom output. A third 50MP ultrawide camera is also expected, alongside a specialised 3.2MP multispectral lens aimed at improving colour accuracy. For selfies, reports point to a 50MP front camera, though final details may vary at launch.

That camera setup is unusually ambitious for a compact phone. Most smaller flagships have to compromise somewhere, often by keeping the telephoto modest or skipping high-resolution zoom hardware altogether. OPPO seems to be taking the opposite approach here, betting that buyers who want a smaller phone still care about camera flexibility.
OPPO Find X9s Pro specifications suggest a compact flagship
The Find X9s Pro is tipped to use a 6.32-inch OLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it may run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The battery is reportedly around 7,000mAh, which is a large number for a phone in this size class. Compared with most compact flagships, that is a very unusual mix. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series and Apple’s base iPhone usually trade battery size for slimmer bodies. OPPO appears to be trying to avoid that compromise.
Charging is said to include 80W wired and 50W wireless support, while durability may be a strong point too, with IP68 and IP69 ratings. Other specifications include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Colour options are expected to include Titanium, White, Cyan and Orange.
If the leaks are accurate, the Find X9s Pro could become one of the few compact phones that offers both true flagship performance with headline cameras and a big battery. The OnePlus 15T has recently launched in China as a compact flagship with a 7,500mAh battery, but when it comes to cameras, OPPO takes the cake. The Find X9s Pro may appeal to those who want a camera phone without moving to a large Ultra-style device. The dual 200MP setup could make it more attractive than many compact rivals that rely on one strong main camera and less ambitious secondary sensors.
If you specifically want a small phone but do not want to give up battery life or camera hardware, the Find X9s Pro looks worth waiting for. The leaked spec sheet suggests OPPO is aiming for a balanced flagship rather than a cut-down compact model.
