Realme 16 Pro series is the next lineup of phones to join the mid-range segment in India. It’s expected to launch in India early next year with two phones: Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+. The brand has only been teasing the Realme 16 Pro series for now, with no specifications revealed, but we get a look at the phone’s design, which is surely going to catch a lot of eyes.
A series of images revealing the Realme 16 Pro series design and colour options has been shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X. These are said to be official images shared by Realme, but are nowhere to be seen on the 16 Pro’s microsite. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at the Realme 16 Pro’s design.
This is a unique camera design on the Realme 16 Pro, which is a square-shaped deco, but the sensor placement stands out more. It somewhat looks like the OnePlus 15’s camera design, but flipped sideways. It is a striking design, and Realme’s number series has been one to focus on looks. Based on the teaser images, the Realme 16 Pro series will come in four colour options. There’s Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple, based on the Indian festive flowers, then Master Grey, and Master Gold, giving buyers plenty of options to choose from. The Master Grey and Gold colour variants appear to have a textured finish, while the other two feature a glass finish.
Overall, the Realme 16 Pro series features rounded edges, similar to the 15 Pro. It’s not confirmed if the same colour options apply for both the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Realme 16 Pro series is teased to capture portrait shots with 1x to 10x zoom. Here, 3.5x zoom is highlighted, suggesting it could feature a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom support. This would be a major upgrade over the Realme 15 Pro, which doesn’t have a telephoto lens. It would also give the Realme 16 Pro series an edge over rivals, as most phones don’t offer a telephoto lens in this segment.
The Realme 16 Pro series will also feature the new LumaColor Algorithm for brighter low-light shots and more vivid images. There’s AI Edit Genie 2.0 as well for further enhancement.
Realme has yet to reveal the chipset details, but it’s confirmed to be a Snapdragon chipset, faster than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The Realme 16 Pro series is also confirmed to offer an all-day battery, possibly larger than a 6,500mAh battery. This could mean a 7,000mAh cell on the Realme 16 Pro series. On the software front, the phones will run realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 out of the box. It is also confirmed to get 3 OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches.
Detailed specifications are still under wraps, making it too early to form a complete picture of the Realme 16 Pro series. That said, the claims shared so far suggest a well-rounded mid-range lineup with some premium touches. With a launch expected in early 2026, the Realme 16 Pro series could be worth keeping an eye on.
