Realme has revealed details about the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition ahead of its September 21st pop-up launch in India. The company has now shown the phone’s Hogwarts-inspired design and revealed the contents of a limited-edition gifting box being launched alongside it.
The special edition has been developed with Warner Bros, following last year’s Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition design and box
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition gets a brown rear panel with a leather-like texture and an Argyle pattern inspired by the Wizard’s Chess scene. A Hogwarts crest is placed at the centre, while the Metal Mirror Camera Deco has been designed to resemble the eyes of Hedwig, Harry Potter’s owl. The metallic mid-frame carries a laser-engraved “Welcome to Hogwarts” slogan, adding another reference to the franchise.
Realme is also offering a Hogwarts-themed gifting box limited to 5,000 units worldwide. Designed as a 1:1 replica of Harry Potter’s trunk, it contains an acceptance letter, train ticket, Hogwarts crest bookmarks, character postcards, a Hogwarts-logo phone case and a phone pin.
Realme 16 Pro specs and price
Realme hasn’t announced the price of the Harry Potter Edition. The regular Realme 16 Pro features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging, 200MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and 50MP selfie camera.
An earlier leak suggested the Harry Potter Edition could come with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. That configuration of the Realme 16 Pro originally launched in India at Rs 36,999. However, pricing for the series has since increased, with current models starting at around Rs 44,999 and the top-end variant priced at Rs 49,999.
If the Harry Potter Edition carries a significant premium, the standard Realme 16 Pro could make more sense for buyers primarily interested in specifications. The limited edition is instead aimed at Harry Potter fans who are willing to pay for its themed design and collectibles. The launch reflects a wider smartphone industry trend of using entertainment franchises and pop culture collaborations to create limited-edition devices, helping brands differentiate otherwise similar hardware while giving fans a stronger reason to engage with and collect their products.
