Realme C85 5G’s highlight is undoubtedly its 7,000mAh battery, which the brand claims can last for two days straight. This claim is something we’ll have to test out through real-world performance and benchmark tests. Realme also says the C85’s battery is built to last for six years, making it a good choice for long-term use. The smartphone supports 45W fast charging, which is claimed to give 1.5 hours of usage on just 5 minutes of charge. It also comes with 6.5W reverse charging.

Up front, the Realme C85 5G features a large 6.8-inch HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness, which is quite decent for a budget phone. The large screen makes it ideal for watching YouTube videos, streaming shows, and the 144Hz refresh rate ensures an even smoother scrolling experience. It’s expected to enhance the gaming experience as well.

The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a popular choice for budget phones, and one that delivers decent performance. It features a 50MP AI rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies, along with AI Edit Genie and AI Editor for editing photos. The smartphone is IP69-rated, making it highly resistant to dust and water. It’s the only phone to offer an IP69 rating in this segment. On top of that, you get military-grade shock resistance with the Realme C85. The smartphone also gets this 400 percent louder volume feature, which should be helpful while streaming shows.

Realme C85 5G has been launched in two variants. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 15,499, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999.
