Realme has announced the launch of its new Narzo 90 series in India on December 16th. The lineup includes two phones: the Realme Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x, both positioned as performance-focused smartphones for young users who want reliable everyday endurance and long battery life.
The Realme Narzo 90 is aimed at students and entry-level professionals. It is confirmed to house a 7,000mAh battery and 60W fast charging, a 4,000 nits peak brightness display, and dual 50MP cameras. The smartphone will also carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection. With most brands offering 7,000mAh batteries as the standard now, it’s not surprising that Realme is also following suit. With this battery capacity, users can easily get a day’s worth of juice without having to charge the phone. The smartphone is also said to carry a six-year battery life guarantee.

The Realme Narzo 90 will also come with AI Edit Genie and AI Editor features. Realme says the Narzo 90 is designed to offer consistent performance throughout the day while maintaining a simple and lightweight design.
The Realme Narzo 90x will be the more affordable option of the two, and hence targeted at college students who need long usage hours for study, gaming, and entertainment. It also features a 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging, along with a 144Hz display that reaches 1,200 nits peak brightness. The phone includes a 50MP Sony AI camera and 400 percent ultra-volume speakers for louder media playback. The Realme Narzo 90x focuses on extended battery life, smooth display performance, and an improved multimedia experience.

With these specs, the Realme Narzo 90x can be a viable option for anyone looking for a budget phone specifically for content streaming with a reliable battery life.
The realme Narzo 90 Series will be available for purchase on realme.com and Amazon India. There are no details on their pricing yet, but Realme’s Narzo series caters to the budget segment under Rs 20,000. For example, the Realme Narzo 80x launched at Rs 13,999. There was no Narzo 80, but its predecessor, the Narzo 90, is expected to be priced just slightly above the Narzo 90x.
With affordable pricing and dependable hardware, the Realme Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x add solid new options for buyers. If you’re looking for a budget phone with a long-lasting battery, bright display, and capable cameras, the Realme Narzo 90 series is worth keeping an eye on. However, given the lack of pricing, it’s best to wait until launch day for a full assessment and comparisons with rivals in the same segment.
