Alleged Redmi Note 17 Indian variant appears on Geekbench revealing key details

Xiaomi is expected to introduce its latest Redmi Note lineup in India soon. The Redmi Note 17 has now reportedly appeared on Geekbench, suggesting the launch could be closer to launch than previously expected. After making an appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database, the upcoming smartphone has now surfaced on Geekbench, offering an early look at its processor, memory configuration, and software.

The Redmi Note 17 is expected to make its India debut on August 6th, although the company has yet to officially confirm the launch date.

Redmi Note 17 Geekbench details

A Xiaomi handset carrying the model number 26021RN18I, believed to be the Indian version of the Redmi Note 17, has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

The listing indicates that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset (internally identified as SM4450) paired with the Adreno 613 GPU. Interestingly, this is the same processor used in the Redmi Note 17 5G model that recently debuted in China, hinting that Xiaomi may bring identical hardware to the Indian market.
