If you’re looking for an older iPhone Pro model to make the most of discounts/price cuts, chances are you won’t find it easily. Apple typically discontinues its Pro models after launching a new generation, and buyers mostly rely on third-party seller discounts to get their hands on a Pro model at a lower price. Renewed smartphones retailer ControlZ is currently offering refurbished iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro models at prices well below their original launch cost.
As part of its sixth anniversary sale, running from July 6th to July 10th, the company is offering renewed iPhones starting at Rs 31,999. The deals include the iPhone 14 Pro at Rs 52,999 and the iPhone 15 Pro at Rs 66,499, which is significantly lower than what Apple’s Pro models historically retail for.
Refurbished iPhone deals
ControlZ’s anniversary sale includes the iPhone 13 for Rs 31,999, iPhone 13 Pro for Rs 43,499, iPhone 14 Pro for Rs 52,999, iPhone 15 for Rs 44,499 and iPhone 15 Pro for Rs 66,499. For buyers who simply want an iPhone Pro without spending over Rs 1 lakh, these prices are worth noting. Apple no longer sells the iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro through its official store, and even during festive sales, newer Pro models rarely become available at similar prices. There are rumours suggesting the upcoming iPhone 17 series could see a price increase. If that happens, renewed Pro models may become an even more affordable way to enter Apple’s premium ecosystem.
Should you buy refurbished iPhones?
This depends on what you value. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro should still deliver flagship-level performance for everyday use, premium displays with ProMotion, capable cameras and several years of iOS updates. Apple’s processors also tend to remain relevant for much longer than a typical smartphone upgrade cycle, so these devices are unlikely to feel dated anytime soon.
That said, the sub-Rs 70,000 segment also opens doors to several newer (but 2025) Android flagships powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and 2026 sub-flagships. These phones offer newer hardware, larger batteries, faster charging and the latest AI features, making them attractive alternatives if you’re not inclined towards Apple’s ecosystem.
However, buyers must remember that these are refurbished devices, not brand-new ones. Buyers should check the warranty, return policy, battery health and the seller’s refurbishment process before purchasing. ControlZ says its phones undergo AI-assisted, component-level renewal and come with an 18-month warranty, which adds some reassurance. If your priority is owning an Apple Pro model at the lowest possible price, these deals are worth considering. If you want the latest hardware and a brand-new device, similarly priced Android alternatives remain strong options.
