However, the chat support hasn't revealed a timeline as to when the update will be available.
Original story follows...
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is finally hitting stores across various markets in the globe. Though the lineup doesn't bring design changes, there are some notable hardware improvements, especially to the Galaxy S24 Ultra model. Samsung displays have always been the best in the class and the Ultra model this year too gets a QHD+ sAMOLED panel. However, there appears to be a problem with the S24 Ultra regarding the display colour tones.
There are multiple reports on Reddit from users who got their devices earlier than expected about the 'washed-out' colours. Samsung phones come with multiple colour profiles, and the issue seems to be affecting when the model is set to the 'Vivid' profile, which gives you more saturation. Users report colours on the 'Natural' profile look normal.
There are chances the problem could be software-related and could be fixed with an update. One UI 6.1 could be the problem as the build is exclusive to the Galaxy S24 Ultra at the moment. Samsung hasn't acknowledged or responded to the issue at the moment.
