Samsung Galaxy S25 series gets major price cuts in India; S25 Ultra and Edge discounted by Rs 30,000
In a market where smartphone prices have mostly been moving in one direction that is upward, there’s a rare breather for buyers. The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is now selling at noticeably lower prices across Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s own website, with reductions visible across multiple variants. Note that exact discounts vary depending on the platform.
The Galaxy S25 on Flipkart now starts at Rs 56,999 for the 12GB + 128GB option and Rs 62,999 for the 12GB + 256GB, down from Rs 80,999 (256GB) at launch in February 2025. The higher-end 12GB + 512GB variant is currently listed at Rs 74,999 on Flipkart and Rs 77,999 on the Samsung website, compared to its original price of Rs 92,999. The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is missing from Samsung’s website, but Flipkart listings show the 12GB + 256GB model at Rs 72,999, down from Rs 99,999.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Edge account for the biggest drop in absolute terms. The base 12GB +256GB variant of the Ultra is now hovering around Rs 1,00,000 on Amazon, while the 12GB + 512GB version is listed at Rs 1,14,999 on Samsung’s website, down from Rs 1,41,999 at launch. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has also seen a similar correction, with the base 12GB +256GB variant currently listed at Rs 79,999 on Flipkart compared to the Rs 1,09,999 launch price, while the 512GB model is now at Rs 1,01,999 versus Rs 1,21,999 earlier. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE (review), launched at Rs 59,999 in September 2025, is now down to Rs 44,999 on Flipkart. We’re not sure if these price cuts are temporary discounts or permanent reductions.
Samsung flagships at discounted prices
Even though the S25 lineup is a generation old, that doesn’t take away from the fact that these are top-notch performers. The S25 lineup runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with Android 15 and One UI 8, alongside Samsung’s Galaxy AI features. You get 120Hz AMOLED displays, 12GB RAM across the board, IP68 ratings, and 50MP-class primary cameras. The Ultra continues to stand apart with its 200MP sensor, titanium build, and S Pen. Battery sizes remain 4,000mAh on the S25, 4,900mAh on the S25+, and 5,000mAh on the Ultra, with up to 45W charging. These are definitely on the lower end compared to today’s 7,000mAh standards across Chinese OEMs.
Easy to recommend flagships
The S25 FE and S25 fall into the Rs 40,000 – Rs 60,000 bracket, competing with upper mid-range and sub-flagship devices. The S25 Edge lands around Rs 80,000 in the premium tier, while the Ultra, even at Rs 1,00,000, remains a flagship, just at a lower entry point than newer models. The S25 Edge, which was the first uber-slim phone to debut, sits between the Plus and Ultra, focusing more on design with its 5.8 mm profile.
At launch, the S25 series asked for full flagship prices. At current rates, the S25 FE becomes a straightforward pick for buyers who want a Samsung flagship experience without stretching past Rs 50,000. The standard S25, now under Rs 60,000, also starts to make more sense for those who prefer a compact phone without giving up on performance. Notably, the price difference between the 256GB and 512GB variants of the S25 is only Rs 3,000 — something for buyers to note. The Ultra benefits the most from the correction. At around Rs 1,00,000, it no longer sits at the very top of the price ladder, which makes its camera setup and S Pen extremely natural to recommend.
The S25 FE is especially interesting because it is currently cheaper than the recently launched Galaxy A57 on Flipkart. That makes it one of Samsung’s better value plays right now, especially for buyers who want a more premium design and Galaxy AI features without stretching into full flagship pricing. For anyone comparing options right now, this is where older flagships start to look practical again. You’re trading recency for price, but not giving up much in terms of overall experience.
