The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to be available at its lowest price since launch during the upcoming Amazon Prime Day sale that starts on July 4th. Launched in India at Rs 1,29,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB model in January 2025, Samsung’s premium flagship will be available for Rs 84,999 during the sale, making it one of the biggest discounts seen on an Ultra smartphone.
While the star deal is certainly on the S25 Ultra, Samsung is also offering discounts across its smartphone portfolio, giving buyers several options across price segments.

Should you buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra?
The Galaxy S25 Ultra remains a feature-packed flagship despite being over a year old. It comes with a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also packs a 200MP primary camera, a new 50MP ultrawide camera, dual telephoto sensors, a built-in S Pen, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging, IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 7 support, Samsung DeX, and seven years of Android OS and security updates.
For buyers shopping in the premium segment, this is arguably one of the strongest flagship deals available today. Although the Galaxy S25 Ultra is no longer Samsung’s newest Ultra phone, its hardware remains highly competitive, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite continues to deliver flagship-level performance for gaming, photography, AI features, and everyday use, despite having a successor.
More importantly, Samsung’s promise of seven years of software updates means the phone still has a long life ahead. That makes the effective value proposition much stronger than many newer devices.
The timing of this discount is also important as premium smartphone prices have steadily climbed over the past year. Newer Android flagships such as the Vivo X300 FE, OPPO Find X9, and Xiaomi 17 are selling around the same price bracket. In many cases, buyers are paying more while getting fewer upgrades than previous generations.
At Rs 84,999, the Galaxy S25 Ultra undercuts many current flagship phones while offering flagship cameras, premium build quality, an integrated S Pen, and long-term software support. If you typically keep your phone for four to six years, this deal is difficult to overlook. Rather than chasing the latest hardware every year, picking up a proven flagship at a steep discount could prove to be the smarter long-term purchase, especially at a time when premium smartphones continue to become more expensive.
