Samsung appears to be preparing for three new smartphone launches. We’ve spotted the Galaxy S26 FE, Galaxy A08 and Galaxy A07s on the Google Play Console. The listings reveal key hardware details for all three phones, including their processors, graphics hardware, RAM and display resolutions. Let’s check it out below:
Table of Contents
The Galaxy S26 FE listing key hardware details
The Galaxy S26 FE has appeared on the Google Play Console with model number SM-S741U, the same model seen in earlier certification listings. The listing also identifies the phone with Samsung’s s5e9955 platform and an Xclipse 950 GPU, which is in line with the Exynos 2500 chipset.
The listing shows around 8GB of RAM, a 1080 x 2340-pixel resolution, and a 450DPI screen density. It also confirms support for a recent version of Android. Earlier leaks have pointed out that the phone will support 45W fast charging as well.
Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S26 FE is due to launch later this year, and the new listing suggests development is moving ahead of the launch.
Galaxy A08: key details
The Galaxy A08s has also surfaced on Google Play Console, with model number SM-A085F. It is listed with a MediaTek chipset and around 8GB of RAM, which could make it an interesting upgrade in Samsung’s budget range.
The phone has a 720 x 1600-pixel display, 300 and uses the same MediaTek platform seen on the Galaxy A07s. That suggests the two phones could share some core hardware while differing in memory and other features. The A08’s appearance on Google Play Console does not reveal its expected price, cameras, battery or launch date, so those details remain unclear for now.
Galaxy A07s: key details
The third phone in the listing is the Galaxy A07s, carrying model number SM-A077M. Despite its lower position in Samsung’s range, the phone appears to use the same MediaTek chipset as the Galaxy A08.
The key difference shown in the listings is memory, as the Galaxy A07s is listed with around 4GB of RAM, compared with roughly 8GB on the A08. Both phones also have a 720 x 1600-pixel display and 300DPI screen density. Samsung has not yet officially announced the phone, but it seems to be an entry-level device based on the RAM.
Should you wait for the new Galaxy phones?
Together, the three listings show Samsung preparing phones across very different price segments. The Galaxy S26 FE will be the premium option for users who want a flagship experience at a more reasonable price point. The Galaxy A08 and A07s, meanwhile, seem to target the budget segment based on the specs revealed so far.
There is still too little information to say these devices are worth it at this moment, particularly for the Galaxy A08 and A07s. Pricing will be the biggest factor for both phones, especially given the price inflation in the budget segment due to the ongoing memory shortage.
The Galaxy S26FE, however, is a device we know quite a lot about already. With higher memory costs and the usual generational bump, the new FE could easily land in the Rs 75,000–80,000 bracket, sitting just under the Galaxy S26, which currently starts at around Rs 87,999.
If Samsung pushes the S26 FE closer to Rs 80,000, the device will have competitors like the Vivo X300FE and the OPPO Find X9s, both of which are capable flagship devices. For Samsung fans who prioritise One UI, long‑term updates and the familiar S‑series design, the S26 FE would still offer a slightly more affordable way into the S26 lineup.
