Samsung is scheduled to begin open sales of the Galaxy S26 series in India on March 11th. But in a few cities, buyers can already get the phone delivered within minutes through quick-commerce apps. Platforms such as Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart have listed and are selling the Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra even though Samsung has not yet opened full retail sales.
Blinkit said last week that the Galaxy S26 lineup is available on its app in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Mumbai. On Swiggy Instamart, the base Galaxy S26 was available to order in parts of Delhi. Blinkit was also delivering the S26 in some parts of Delhi within 30 minutes, though the Ultra was out of stock.

Interestingly, Samsung is still taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series in India, with pre-orders scheduled to close tomorrow. The phones are officially expected to go on sale through authorised offline stores and major online retailers on March 11th.
Quick-commerce platforms have been expanding beyond groceries and everyday essentials over the past year. Companies such as Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart have gradually added electronics accessories, headphones and small gadgets to their catalogues. Listing a newly launched flagship smartphone such as the Samsung Galaxy S26 suggests these platforms are testing whether high-value electronics can also be sold through the same rapid delivery model. High-end gadgets like the Sony PS5 and iPhone 17 have been available on quick commerce platforms shortly after launch.
For Samsung, the sale on quick commerce also works in its favour to widen its distribution channels in India. Flagship launches have traditionally relied on pre-orders through the company’s own stores and large e-commerce platforms. Making devices available through quick-commerce apps could help the brand tap into impulse purchases and urban buyers who prioritise speed and convenience, especially in large cities where these services are most active.
For buyers thinking of buying the phone on quick commerce platforms, consider your location and priorities. In supported cities, Blinkit or Instamart offer immediate access, which is ideal if you need the phone right away to explore features or post content related to the device. However, official channels will sell the phone later, replete with bank discounts, exchange offers, and no-cost EMI, often at better value and nationwide availability.
